I think I would love southern Alaska fuck being way up north though, be nice to visit in July as long as a polar bear don't try to eat me. Lol

You'd have to go wayyy north to see a Polar - they don't venture this far south anymore, though oral native history has them recorded where I live.
BTW, July is a great time to see this state - it's warm (as it's gonna get) and the fishing is freakin off the hook.
And then again Deer opens a bit later in Aug.
You should try an Alaskan look-see, you won't want to go back south I guarantee.

Yeah, I did get an OK to visit and I'm dragging my wife and daughter too so maybe some day I might move just such a big state I don't know where I'm going but I'm bringing plenty of hash so I'm down to get lost. Probably won't be this year though but I'm going.

Ok, not to hijack this thread again but the plot thickens on this house I was looking at. So, in the birdseye pictures of the property I was looking at, there appeared to be a large shed behind the house. Turns out the large shed is infact a complete small second house on it's own 1/3acre lot in the process of being rehabbed and the main house is on a 1.7 acre lot. Owned and being sold by the same woman. 30k for the little house and 90k for the bigger(still small) house. The whole thing just intrigues me. I think I'm gonna call up her real estate agent tomorrow and pick his brain a bit. The more I thnik about it, the more I think it could be a good investment.

So the plot thickens even more! I called my cousin who is a real estate agent, who then called the seller's agent and she said reading between the lines, it sounds like if I buy the 90k house for 90k, they would sell me the 2nd rehab house for $1. I'm gonna talk to my cousins mortgage guy to see if I can even swing this, then maybe setup a time to go peep this shit.

I got a mortgage 3 years ago and they made my dad write a letter explaining the $500 he gave me. It's ridiculous.
