Illinois medical marijuana???

Just a couple more to think about, the drug store can afford to 'give' you a gift card for switching your presripton to them and loyaly rewards, we have add that give you atta boy for knowing how many prescription you take and that that pink pill really has a name, and this is health care, don't go see your Doctor, he doesn't have the time, he like the guy from ( insert the name of every drug company ) and he tells you to call if you notice anything. One of the major arguments you will see from 'Medical Professionals is that MJ is not that strong of a pain reliever. Ok, if it stop the fugging pain better who cares, you will also say there are legal drugs that work as well, WHAT. the media lets them get away with this, work as well shit. Every child diagnosed as add or adhd means your school gets more federal money and the drug companies get a patient for life, MJ is better for them. Did you know the drugs they are given changes their brains forever. Did you know all of the multiple killings had a drug variety in common, forgot what it is, I think its in the catagory of Paxil, its that short term memory thing. Wal-Mart can afford to fill your prescription for $4.00 and if you really can't afford certain generic drugs the benevolent drug companies will provide them for free. You can go on the net and fill out forms for the drugs you get. ANd they have the nerve to call it Health Care, its fugging sick care and if you don't have it yet we will invent it. Last night I heard a commercial say one in 5 has genitle herpes and doesn't know it, talk about a scare tactic, my crotch has been ithcing all day. The drugs of today kill people. except one, well caffine is pretty low too. And more people are addicted too those drugs then to the illicit drugs. The only one used by more folks is Marijuana and the United Nations is saying the US needs to rethink their drug policies. VV

I hate the way my doctor spends 10 minutes with me twice a year and the bitch thinks she just knows all. She's a pill pusher and I don't like that shit. She really likes shoving that lipitor and she won't sub it either. That shit is $100/month with insurance. I've been on that shit a long time, changed my diet, started exercising more and still they want to increase my dosage. I finally just told her I'm not even filling that shit anymore. I want to see if my cholest. will stabilize on it's own and suddenly she doesn't want to test that. I'm smelling some bullshit.

I also read that weed seeds are good for cholest. They have the good kind and lower the bad kind. I was kind of thinking about trying it. Save em up and swallow maybe 5 per day. Anyone heard of this or tried it?

On another note, my son's friend has leukemia and that kid swears that the cancer drugs cause cancer. Something to think about.......

Hey VV, I heard on CNN this morning that some congressman is presenting a bill today to decriminalize marijuana on a federal level. Something about responsible adults being allowed to posses up to 100 grams for personal use. Not selling or growing (I don't know how you would possess up to 100 grams if you didn't buy it or grow it, but whatever).

It wouldn't do anything about state law, but it would pave the way for sure. I searched for the article in print and couldn't find the damn thing, but I saw it on CNN headline news this morning.

man i wish marijuana was legal on the federal level. medicinal marijuana will be on michigans ballot in the '08 election and i live like 2 hours from michigan

I hope it passes, then the states will follow. I need IL to make it legal for everyone. I have no problem with growing my own. I have no desire to sell either. Just want to be able to use it without being a "criminal".

if michigan medicinal marijuana does pass, i wonder how lenient the system will be. california has a lenient system. i know right now in detroit, flint, traverse city, and some other cities in michigan doctors are allowed to recommend severely ill patients the use marijuana. im not exactly sure how it works but i dont think they provide any marijuana. you would probably have to grow it or some shit

If you just swallow the seeds they will pass right through you. That's what seeds are made to do. Crush them first.

That is exactly the way it is and the mess that is reported on in California is one of the reasons why. I know there are a lot of good legitimate co-ops and patients, you have seen wha gets reported. The Michigan law will allow patients to grow 12 maturing plants (I read that flowering) or have a caregiver grow for them, a care giver can grow for as many as 5 patients, no profit, can recover reasonable expenses.A patient can also have 2 1/2 oz. Cards will be isseud by Community Mental Health, LEO can verify the card with a phone call. VV
