Illegal vs hispanic

What you don't seem to get is that what you say doesn't matter.....and that's what? the third or fourth time you've used the term "mailbox checker?" I'm going to finally respond by saying I don't know what the hell you are talking about.
Stick with the topic at hand. You do nothing but instigate pure garbage with people who aren't in line with your ridiculous claim to logic.
You are way off base with most, if not ALL of your posts.
'mailbox checker' comes from some other post or pm form you stating that the father of your child had his wages go down to $0 because of all the illegals...and so you weren't able to get your child support. you told me this in response to me asking you exactly how illegals had ruined your life. just like the 99'ers or welfare abusers, i dub these people 'professional mailbox checkers'.

if this is not true and you actually work for a living, just say so and i will apologize immediately. i could have made a bad assumption.

Hahaha......

So you're not going to discuss this with me because you find my views so offensive (which is ridiculous in itself) yet you do post a whole paragraph of what looks suspiciously like discussion....?

And how is taking the demand-side of immigration into account ridiculous? That's the exact same logic the drug warriors use, by the way...

You might want to inform yourself a bit better about the US labor market. There are huge shortages of labor in some parts of the country and immigrants (legal or otherwise) tend to be the only ones filling the gaps. If there were a guest worker program for people to come work here during harvest season and then go home, there wouldn't be a need for big food companies to hire so many illegals. And I'm sorry you find the term 'unskilled labor' offensive, but that's the term in economics for people who have no particular qualifications and no high school diploma. And it actually doesn't include a lot of what you're thinking either....i.e. carpenters, auto mechanics, plumbers are all skilled laborers.

I don't really understand the last part of your post...sorry, but I don't think software engineers should be digging tunnels to mexico if that's what you're asking. They should be writing software....
...just as American "skilled"....."able and willing and DESPERATE to work" in fields of construction, etc. SHOULD BE able to utilize their skills.
::eyeroll::: Any more open border programs that allow the illegal to pass over with the intention of their crossing their way back is a slap in the face to the average American......try harder.

And if you don't comprehend the response regarding your own asinine remark.......Right now, you don't have a lot of laid-off software engineers willing to move halfway across the country do manual labor for 5 bucks an hour...

..well then, I'd suggest you better inform yourself.

Sorry, I guess I was giving you more credit than you deserve....

1. If it's a legal guest worker program, then it isn't for illegals....is it now? Think a little harder. I guess it doesn't matter if they are illegal or not after all....you just don't like immigrants, huh?
2. How do I inform myself about the nonsense you typed? I misplaced my copy of 'retardese for dummies'. And again, show me the laid off stockbroker or software engineer with the 'will work for food' sign or going to work in apple orchards and slaughterhouses...this isn't the great depression.
3. Learn some manners.

The Tucson sector Border Patrol union local 2544 on the number of illegal aliens in our nation: "There are currently 15 to 20 million illegal aliens in this country by many estimates, but the real numbers could be much higher and the numbers increase every day because our borders are not secure (no matter what the politicians tell you - don't believe them for a second)".

Is it at all possible that if all these ppl would put the effort into their own country that they put into illegaly crossing the border, hideing for life or until legal, and working low level jobs anyway(not all jus most) it might be worth sticking around.. i mean the U.S is far from the land with the streets paved of gold. so instead of tryna make americans feel bad for not wanting to change everything about their way of life to compensate foreign customs when the favor would never be returned. If everone is so concerned with helping illegals how about help those people help themselves and make mexico abetter place to stay for all... maybe we can send some of our problems down them and let them send money back to boost our economy for once. IM SICK OF THIS ONE SIDED DEAL!!!!

Yeah, America could save millions in tax dollars if they just sent convicted criminals across the border and told them they would be arrested and put back in prison if caught back in America.

Yeah...we desperately need a legal guest worker program to take those undesirable positions that Americans just refuse to take to provide for their families.
lol, and when the season is over, I'm sure they will willingly cross back over...pfft.

Here you go....don't know why you couldn't do this for yourself.

In a letter dated February 2004, no less an authority than Arizona Senator John McCain recognized that Border Patrol apprehension figures demonstrated that "almost four million people crossed our borders illegally 2002" (read McCain's letter) – experts on the subject agree that illegal crossings have only increased since then.
(Visit the local's website).
In agreement with Senator McCain, we believe that an increase of 10,000 total additional illegal aliens added to the United States population each day.
This reflects figures that include illegal aliens successfully entering our nation combined with those who overstay their visas.
We are of the educated opinion that we are conservatively low in our estimation.

I wouldn't put too much faith in those numbers, friend. It's a bit like when the DEA claim they've confiscated 100 billion dollars worth of marijuana....
You asked......no, you really needn't say another single thing to me.
You remind me of the story of the little engine that could.....
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can
I know I can, I know I can, I know I can

...just substitute with

I see(think) it not, I see(think) it not, I see(think) it not
I know it not, I know it not, I KNOW IT NOT

how is this not a direct insult?

some will never learn.

i looked up this foundation, although their website no longer exists, what was left of it claimed they were 'a coalition of immigration crime fighters opposed to illegal and undocumented workers founded by D.A. King'...perhaps, a bit biased of a source.

i dont mind immigrants or mexicans at all in our country as long as they go thru the proper steps to be here.. its the illegals of any race or country that fuck up the job market and the economy, they dont contribute, they only take. thats wrong in my opinion. i happen to enjoy being around other races or mexicans specifically since u mentioned them , i work with many, i dont mind them speaking spanish around me...gives me an incentive and chance to learn. just like every other people there are assholes and problems associated with.

i understand the problems of many countries and why the people come here for a better life but that does not make it right to be here illegally.

be legal or get the fuck out!!!

you know, why don't we just annex Mexico.
someone suggested that already, something about could have taken it all before but did not want to.

there are more people out there looking for a way to fight, than there are people looking to fix a system. as long as this holds true there will be little progress

UB, it doesn't matter what source I provide you. You will only use it as an opportunity one way or the other in an attempt to sway from reality. The number 12 million was being tossed around YEARS ago.
...surely you don't think they stopped crossing our borders since then.

If someone is hungry enough, they will find a way to make money. It isn't the mexicans fault that people can't find work. Some people just refuse to do the work. Mcdonalds, janitor, payless, etc. People nowdays expect more for less. Go pick up shit or something. I needed money. I cleaned toilets. Sure, it fuckin stinks. But at the end of the week, I got my $200. There is money to be made if you want it bad enough.
