Intro

Basically i am moving out and intend on starting up a SOG
i understand how the SOG works however i dont really understand hydro.

I Have Grown Before

I Plan on having 2 mothers, 4 clones & 16 Flowering on a 2 week cycle,
22 plants total.

Money is a factor to some extent (altho not a problem)

I Plan on using fluros for clones && Mothers
And Hid for Flowers

However im open to suggestions as this is my 'initial idea'

Firstly could you write me out a list of all the things i will need to start my SOG, i need the actual names of the peices of equipment so i can search for it online.


maximum space available 4ft x 4ft
2 Week cycle
Easiest Method
I Am Good At DIY :D (especially when it saves $ )

i understand what your saying, its just from what i can see there isnt actually a list of FAQ's just a 43 page thread thats now closed where people used to ask Al B questions, who has now left the site anyways. Sorry if ive missed something in another section just thought this would be the easiest way of getting a hydro check list.

Not asking for detailed instructions, just what i will 100% need and what i shouldnt be wasting money on.

The infamous 'learning curve' ;) I've been doing a 'rodeo' on it for the last year,lol!
You will get there mate, just make a list of your Q's and then ask about them specifically. That way you will not overwhelm your fellow stoners,lol.

no, not the al b. faqt, although that is a good thread that's worth your time to read.

there is the growfaq at the top. click the link.

there are so many different ways to do hydro that it is impossible to give you a list of anything.

i'd reccomend building a flood and drain system.

you can build one for less than $100 with parts from a hardware store if you know what you're doing. (not including the light)

there are countless examples of people showcasing their homemade setups on this site that if you want the knowledge all you need to do is search, read, and absorb.
