Man... as I near the end of 9 weeks of flowering, I am itching so badly to chop and cure. My wife laughed and said she finally got through to me .
The northern was supposed to be ready in 7-8weeks. Makes me think I could have done something differently to have that faster final cut time. I'm just not seeing the amber trichomes yet and I have a jeweler's loop. Anyway...

I never thought I would have grown up to be someone who grows. Now with that said, I absolutely love it though. I find it so calming... I honestly lose track of time just looking at them and hoping there might be a leaf that needs my help coming off. I enjoy the science of it all and encourage anyone who wants to do so to give it a go. (I should say, legally. Whatever you do is your own business.) Sorry everyone. Left everyone hanging. These pics are the last of my clones that got cut and hung last night. They are much larger than their original plants.
2 weeks of drying in the veg tent at about 55-65rh for the original trio of plants. Dry trim was a chore that literally took all day 8+ hrs. Once I got into a rythm of looking for the base of the leaves... 3rd ounce looked much leaner and cleaner than the first.
I could not be absolutely happier with the final products. The original trio of plants dried and trimmed buds weighed in at.
Northern Lights - 4.8 oz
LA Confidential - 3.7 oz
Gorilla glue#4 - ~1oz
My wife has balanced back out for a while and is looking at surgery possibly soon for lady related issues. She just picked up some dispensary GG#4 to compare to ours. Ours is much much frostier.
Northern lights had a citrus like taste. The La had like a rosy taste with a hint of black pepper. Friends were instantly calling it top shelf stuff as they all would grab you in the first hit. We are seasoned smokers... We definitely noticed the product difference.
