Hurry up before the cops mark it. In fact, let me know when it's show time. I'll see if I can hitch a ride and crawl under it as soon as it settles at the bottom of the hill. You just keep mumbling "is he ok?" I'll keep my feet out enough for them to find me. I'm claustrophobic and need to be found pretty quickly.
Your nephew might be good for this or possibly granny. How is granny doing?

That woulda passed inspection around here up until a couple years ago. For some reason, the inspectors have a hard on for rot and body damage lately.

I'm ashamed to admit I taped up a cv boot like that just to get through winter so I didn't have to work on it in the cold. Packed it full of grease, tied it with some mechanics wire, smeared silicone adhesive all over the spit area, then wrapped it in duct tape. It held up for a couple months. Pure hack fuckery.

Search "There I fixed it" for more awesome hack repairs.
If it is only making a light clicking at full turn, you can drive with that fucker for thousands of miles still. It is big shit if it does seize.

Maaan, fuck grandma!

Grandma went to brown town and sold my shit to some bangers. They saw that they could work her so they moved in on my turf. I went over one day to have “a talk” with her but she was on the porch with three bangers. Bitch made them lemonade. I NEVER got lemonade. I was pretty mad so I kept rolling. I went to "test drive" a CL car so they wouldn’t recognize me. I decided to just do a drive by figuring they would understand that shit, but it was day time and I couldn’t figure out how to turn off the daytime running lights. So I circled the block a few times. By the time I said fuck it, they had already gone in so I just sprayed the place and took off.

I just spent $600 on my front end two months ago. Inner/outer tie rods replaced, front end alignment, and everything else on front end serviced. I don't like to play around when it comes to tires falling off the car.

Ouch! What kinda car and what's the "everything else serviced" involve? I've had guys I worked with tell me they've spent upwards of $1000 on brake jobs and then I've gone and shown them the $300 in parts for everything and only takes an hour or two with basic tools. That's one big reason I started working on cars. $10,000 in tools pays itself back pretty quick when you DIY.

I'm doing brakes next month, back brakes anyway.... they getting close. That is something I can easily do myself. Think the pads will run around $25 - $30 .

Edit: I drive a Chrysler 300 C-Hemi

I hate back brakes, all them springs and things you have to hold together, and the e brake....

Fronts are so much easier, a crescent wrench to remove the caliper and a couple of wrenches to press the cylinder back in so the new pads fit. Pshhh

Besides, the fronts do 80% of the stopping, so I just let the backs go.

Add flexible brake hoses if you haven't.
That is one component you can never tell the state of with the eye.

Guess most of you won't make good beetle owners. You have to manually adjust the breaks every few thousand miles as they don't adjust by themselves like a modern car. As well as do minor engine adjustments. Also adjusting points and shitting condensors.
