Hell, yeah. I just renewed my AAA gold membership. I used to drive the worst beaters that were always on the verge of breakdown, knowing that they would come out anywhere to save me from my shitty vehicles. A few years ago they got smart and stopped the unlimited service, and only come out 4 times per year per membership. Which is plenty for a responsible car owner. I bought this jumpbox, which is usually the reason I'd call AAA out, and have used it a few times already for myself and a couple friends - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D42TYFC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just have the cheapo membership. They also reduced the free tow distance from 5 to 3 miles but luckily my shop is within that. Jumps a couple of times, change a flat a couple of times, last year had to tow, broke serp belt.

I got my money's worth out of the unlimited, I've had it for 20, or so, years. There were times I drove such POS cars i would've blown through 4 tows in a couple months. When i had my Camaro, I broke it almost monthly, high torque, lottsa traction and weak stock parts don't mix. I used to use it to tow any of my friends, anytime, for $20 and some beer, amount of beer depended on when you called for the tow. If I get woke up at 2am and have to go say I was driving because your drunk, that was a nice bottle of scotch, my choice. My friends shitty cars payed my membership, and stocked my fridge, up until they changed that policy.

I specialize in body work, but I'll try to help as much as I can. If you need me to hook you up with a new tail skirt or a rear hood let me know. my work speaks for itself but i assure you, I'm very good. That woulda passed inspection around here up until a couple years ago. For some reason, the inspectors have a hard on for rot and body damage lately.

I'm ashamed to admit I taped up a cv boot like that just to get through winter so I didn't have to work on it in the cold. Packed it full of grease, tied it with some mechanics wire, smeared silicone adhesive all over the spit area, then wrapped it in duct tape. It held up for a couple months. Pure hack fuckery.

Search "There I fixed it" for more awesome hack repairs.

Hey Meta, have you tried washing it? My cars always seemed to run better after I wash them. It will also look like you take care of it after they find it crumpled at the bottom of the hill. That you made it without a scratch in that crumpled heap will be another "miracle" they can tell for years. Of course, your neck and back hurt..
