^^^I was expecting a funnier response. Just never bought a bulb with pcs rolling around inside. None of the other 7 CMHs had that issue. Rep told me one of the per-fired tested 860s popped during a demonstration...they were really trying to push the 315s. Sorry for thread hogging #FHyroot.

By the color of the center. To me the bulb looks used. I could be wrong.

AMPS is amount of electricity.
VOLTS is the Push, not the amount.
OHMS slows the flow.
WATTS is how much gets done.

A watt is a watt yes. How many amps is it running? How many volts? What material is the device made from. Is it Passive or fan cooled. All factors.

If I place a fan pointed at a ballast. It will cool the ballast down...

What if my grow room was in space? What if my grow room was in the north pole? What if my electricity was generated by a hamster wheel? What if my toaster could grow weed if it wasnt on the toast setting? What if my grow light is cooled by liquid blood?......and so on and on and on.....lol

Its like teaching kindergarten!......i'm gonna go get high now......schools out!!

Copper wiring is less conductive than nickel wiring. If the wiring is insulated makes a difference. Aluminum arcs (hps) put out more heat than ceramic arcs (CMH).

Why does my living room light with 3 13 watt cfls make the outlet hotter than 2 t5's and 12 23watts cfl's off of extension cords on one outlet?

why does a 130 watt 27 inch tube tv put out more heat than a 300 watt 46 inch LCD led tv..?

why does a 37 watt cable box put out more heat than a 90 watt modem or an 80 watt studio monitor....?

the main factor is how its built and the material its made from.

your logic is flawed. Its like teaching a senior citizen how to use a computer


2 t5's 12 23watt cfl's 1140 watts puts out far far less heat than my 1000 watt ever did. I had to run a/c constantly for the 1000w. I don't run the a/c at all for t5's and cfl's.

Thats just shitty. I have received 2 falty bulbs through the mail so now I just go to store and buy them and make sure they pass a vusual check before I buy.

Hroot I use to bmx, I had a dyno bike , thing was expensive and kept me in shape, I stopped because all the local tracks shut down. Id be down for some nice jumps.

when I was younger I raced BMX and I was sponsored. Rode cruiser and expert class Then I started skating and got my drivers license and a couple girlfriends.... I wish I didn't stop back then. Some of my friends from back then ride BMX for a career. I ride just for fun. I can't do back flips. I can do tail whips, 360's, and bar spins, and a bunch of basic tricks. I prefer riding dirt over street.

I had boss, l&s , s&m, elf, and now I ride a fitbike.

I picked up some mung beans the other day after seeing Headtreep's post about using them for a sst. Its kind of trippy how the mung beans change color from green to white as they are sprouting. The water has the same cloudyness as the the barley sst. Again I just did sst v.1.0 instead of v.2.0 I jumped the gun on soaking them for when I would have to water next. I know sst v.1.0 is supposed to be 1/2 cup per gal. I'm going to try 1 cup per gal..

I also ordered some red clover seeds last night to use as a companion / cover crop for the next batch.

Companion crop is a nice idea^^^but for indoors?.............was it guod that used to run basil as a companion/light gauge?? dont remember anymore

I have no idea... read these threads. alot of people use companion crops. it helps break down roots, provide enzymes and other orgainc matter into the soil, helps with retaining moisture in the soil..

AHH ............anything that doesn't have a deep root system I imagine.....no competition for the girls I guess. I think guod used basil to see how deep his led would reach into the canopy??

Lots of vineyards use roses at the end of trellis to see early pest issues and defs. I just don't like the idea in a small container, maybe ill try it on one bitch though.

How's that chocolate mint?? ...........sounds nice for drinks:P

I think the earthworm castings top-dress/soil drench is fucking working!!!!!!! I can't believe how fast the gnats have disappeared(not 100%) and the trips are still there, but that may take weeks from what I hear.
