Hey all. new subscriber, had a question about humidity.I have 8 sq. ft. area with low humidity.Cant afford a humidifier at the moment but had an idea about adding RH. My ladies sit off the ground on a raised platform made of cedar slots (same as cedar fence sections) just out of curiousity, does anybody think that if the boards were moistened and by the heat of the lights could possible act as a sauna effect..... just out of curiosity. thnks .

Yes it could. Any wetness you get in there will help. That's all a humidifier does. Pans of water, wet towels, misting the plants, whatever. I assume these plants are in veg? You want low rh in flower.

If your vegging in there spraying your plants helps also :weed: (flowering too but you dont wanna spray your plants too late into flower IMO)

Absolutely, but that might not be enough or you might have to go to the extreme to reach the humidity you want if it's that far off...

Bowls of ice cubs or COLD water behind the fans do a nice trick, especially if they're pointing up towards the light.. That alone has raised my humidity at given times by like 10%... Just gotta make sure you change it 1-2 times a day...

Good Luck to you whatever you choose.. happy growin and happy holidays! :weed:
