i doubt paper clips will work, the branches will prob be strong enough to out pull a paper clip.

this works really well... I use it to tie branches down to my screen to keep them all receiving the same amount of energy from the light.

this is a great method. and cant you just use paperclips to hold down the stem as it grows?
As was mentioned, if you stuck the paperclips into the dirt I think the strength of the plant would pull them out. You could always superglue paperclips all the way around the pot so you have anchor points for your tie downs...no?

I just finished firing a huge bowl so I could be thinking through my ass right now too, LOL...my cat is running around nuts.

I will definitely be using a similar method in my upcoming grow, great stuff.

hey, does anyone know what to do after you harvest in order to keep the plant the same length because once the big stem gets to where it originally started, you wouldnt want the plant to grow anymore right?

yeah im growing 2 papayas in a 3ft high by 2 ft wide by 1 ft length box so i might have to LST, thank you dude.

hey i am growing sum auto/aks for my next grow could i use this method or is the veg stage just too short, with auto flowering strains are u better off leaving them be in this regard?
