How many plants would i need to grow to harvest 6 pounds every month?

well 6lbs a month, well to begin with.
first you going to need alot of space, and alot of light, then just figure the average yield per plant, then devide 6 lbs by that and it will tell you how many plants, roughly.
but to harvest that much every month, first you will need to find a strain that can flower in 1 months time, then you need to increase the required size of your grow area by at least 3/4 for clone/veg.
keeping in mind however many plants you plan to harvest you will need to make that many clones every month (cuz ive never heard of a strain that can veg and flower in 1 month), or seeds and that would require a shitload of seeds every month, and starting from seed you would need to plant seedlings 1-2 months ahead of the flowering schedual.

well you would have to be planting 8-12 plants a month or take clones every 3 weeks but have much more then just throw them into flower. it can be done quite easily, it will take say 200 plants a year for 6 lbs a month... are u up for that?

divide your flower spot into two stages, stage one is for the first four weeks of flowering and stage two is for the last four to five weeks, thats an idea to keep it producing every month and that gives you four weeks to veg you next cycle

Number of plants is irrelivent. Basically you would need around 5kw in two flowering chambers (you could use one, that's more up to preference)
5kw = 5000watts = the best growers could get around 5kg out of this every two months. Well, this is only 11lbs, but you get my drift.
You're going to need another 600w for mother plants, a few hundred more watts for clones, etcetc
Your basic decision will be to do a large number of small plants or a smaller number of bigger plants.
If you do bigger plants, you're going to need more lights for them to veg under while waiting to go into the flowering chamber, if you do 6" clones, you wont need this extra poiwer, but you'll be using quite a few more plants. I'd personally rather do a lot of smaller plants, unless you're trying to stay within the law. You get a lot of main colas this way.
If you're actually serious i'll keep writing, but this sounds like delusions of granduer. Not trying to hate, just being honest that everyone has the same dreams about growing that you do, and very few grow that type of quantity.

Also, i prefer 600w lights. you can spread it out a little more and 600w bulbs typically produce more lumens per watt than any other light.
9 600w lights would give you 5.4kw of light. I hope you have some money saved up for the electric bill because you will shit your pants.

But it'd alot of risk & alot of work tho it'd b worth $15,000 a month - $180,000 a yr.. not too shabby @ all.

I've always believed there is little risk in chatter about hobby level growing here for personal use. But I would never post anything about any plan to harvest 6 pounds a month.

jeez your probably going to need a whole grow house not room, and your going to have to have mothers , clones , and other plants , you would have to dedicate almost every damn minute of your life to growing

To harvest 2 pounds every 2 weeks, you'd need 4 of these in rotation with an 8 week strain. That's 4 lbs a month. 128 plants in total. You could get a bigger container and put more than 32 plants on each hydroponic site. This is probably the most efficient way of going about your goal.
