How and Where to TOP?

ok my red haze plant has been in veg for a mounth and i am running out of room,not yet but will here soon.how and where do i make my cut to top the plant? i have tried to look it up but i cant find shit!! if anyone has any deatailed pics or info on where "exactly" to cut my plant i would appreciate it!!!! also for furture refence how "old" does my seedling have to be before i cut it?

yea but which will give me more of a higher yeild fimming or toping? i want the most possible yeild so should i fimm it or top it?

FIM does not always work why it stands for Fu*K I Missed

topping always works

I would always try to fim first! Then if it dose not work you can always still top the same branch. Just look at my avatar pic! I fimmed, and then fimmed a fim. And then I fimmed again. The more you fim the more tops you will have. If you top you will only get two tops on that branch! But if you fim you can get 4 or more tops on the same branch!

Tried it and some times it works and sometimes it doesn't
If it doen't work you stressed your plant out for nothing and have to wait about a week for recovery-(stunt growth for week)

Topping always works-basically you get what your looking for!

I've been fimming for years, and you are right, if you do it wrong you do stress your plants and stunt them. But when you learn how to do it correctly, its good times for both you and your plants!

so i just cut above the second fan leaf and there will be a "Y" growth? can i do it again on the next branch?

what you do is cut about 2/3 of the new top growth off. And Yes, after a week or two you can Fim/top that same branch again, and again. I grow Scrog style, so I have to fim as much as I can! I've Fimmed this way for a long time, and some times I still cut too much off. Don't worry if you do cut too much or not enough off, your plants will bounce back within two or three days, and you will know if you did it right! If you need anything else just hit me up!
