Holy crap! G.H.S. gave me something that was NOT crap (seriously)

it took me 3+ years of trying a g.h.s. strain here and there through pick and mix and i finally got a winner!

1st i grew big bang (utter crap)
then i grew kings kush (more crap)
and a few others.

well i tried great white shark and its worth the failures! its pretty awesome and the smoke is as described. its relaxing...good indica. can put you to sleep in heavier doses but very chill in casual smoking. no anxiety w/ this strain. decent smell, good yield but the smoke is what to write home about .an indica that isnt naturally overly devastating. good for day or night.

just wanted to share my good experience. i was so sad wen i ran out of the last of it. ill probably have to buy a 10 pack if i hope to find another winner (ghs' genetics arent very stable from my experience)

i got a super lemon haze plant from them i was pleased with. From what i have seen looking at other SLH plants it seems to be a less common pheno with more indica like buds.

I always get great gear from GHS, at least as good as every other breeder out nowadays.

I've seen a lot of nice pics from greenhouse but I think the shark shock photos from mr. nice I've seen look nicer then the photos I've seen of great white shark their sopouse to be the same but mr. nice's is white widow x skunk #1 and greenhouse's is white widow x super skunk but I don't really know who to believe they both claim to be the owners of the original white widow but I'm leaning towards shantibaba. you should try out mr. nice's shark shock and see if its better than the great white shark you grew.

great white shark.

made me some $.
clients loved it, grew like a beast, cloned super easy, & made dense flowers.

from a few years ago, this was a tester i put into flower to peep stretch.

looks good. my pheno was more dense in terms of bud structure. mine grew short and squat like an indica

I've been running "The Church" from GHS for almost 2 years now, and my patients love it. Next to Kali Mist, it's probably my favorite strain in my garden..... although my Cheese Quake girls from TGA might just blow The Church out of the water once they're done!

seems to me that g.h.s. is full of mixed reviews. many who try pick and mix are mad because g.h.s. appears to be crap but if you grow out a 10 pack you're more likely to find at least 1 winner.

my take on g.h.s. is this...they are cheaper seed for seed compared to other breeders but they cost the same overall considering you need a 5-10 pack to find that one good winner whereas with top breeders you can generally buy one through pick and mix and get a winner because the genetics are stable.

ghs has some good stuff but i think they price the seeds so low because they didnt bother to stablize the genetics. or at least thats how it seems considering ive finally been proven wrong with ghs. for me the gws was one of my favorite strains out of the 9 or so strains i had at the time.

Not a troll, just posting my experiences; unlike you!
What do you want me to say?
Mass produced stuff that has next to no quality control?
Or how Arjan thinks hes the king of cannabis?

Just shut up, experience, if you knew anything you wouldn't even bat an eye at GHS.
Obviously since you run them and defend them you like them and haven't tried anything good.
Do you you Bodhi? Gage Green? Mr nice?
But nah you probably wouldn't since they are all the same.

Hahahahahahaha.

I have run the Church and The Doctor, I preferred the Doctor as did most patients as the high is very intense. I had a pheno of Doctor that definitely looked like a good 50/40 sativa dominant, very long calyxes and nice tight buds right to the top.

The Church as described was indica dominant and provided a very nice smooth smoke, the high was calming and not at all intense.

i have mixxed feeling about green house, the worst bud i ever smoked was a ghs strain called bigbang. i would rather smoke mexican brick weed then big bang,

Yup, have run Mr Nice, and Gage Green; have not been able to find anything in stock from Bodhi that I want just yet.

You can say anything you want about GHS most people do, but the proof is in the grow and in the product and unless you have valid statistics and not just a meaningless phrase "Mass produced stuff that has next to no quality control?" maybe you should Just Shut Up.

I stand by my word because I have results to show, I have had some bad individual seeds/plants from all the breeders I grow out but on average I am getting good to great results from all strains despite the breeder.

Listen child, this is a GHS thread so I mentioned my experiences with GHS. Yes I know the cool rhetoric for youngsters around here is "Any experience grower would never look at GHS, bla, bla, bla"

I have grown out at least 30+ strains from at least 8+ breeders (companies), ran Mr Nice Black Widow almost seven years ago, what were you doing?

Personally I don't give a shit about Franco, Arjan, Shantibaba, or anybody else in the industry; I purchase my products by researching, trying out strains I have been introduced to, patient requests, or sometimes just to try something new. It's folks like you that hang around and have to bash GHS to go along with the cool kids.

I fail to see what Arjan thinks of himself has to do with me buying their product.

I've grown repeatedly from GHS : Super Lemon haze, Super Silver haze, Cheese, Exodus Cheese, White Widow, Green-o-matic = low rate germination (SSH : out of 10 germed 1 !), really shitty crap genetics, I guess you couldn't find worse.
But maybe in a million of cases and sure only by luck you could find some good plant. But on the other hand those chances you could find on accidental seeds you may find here and there.
I'm pretty sure that GHS is only a brand name who is selling staff like t-shirts & hats and only accidentally produces and sells hemp seeds which maybe evolutes to cannabis. Pass over.
