It's funny that you still dont get it.
u picked a point in my post that was not even directed at you- and argued against it..If its my original point that the basics are the same- then ur the one who doesn't get it. I get it..Thats why i said it originally. You may of even learned it in school......Stoners eh?

You also wanted to debate about Big Bud for some strange reason to...I left that one alone...

Doesn't matter who won to me to be honest. I'm not in the market for a large LED and if i was I'd buy Stephens just because he is a great brand ambassador for his company- also very generous to the community with his giveaways and time. No outlandish claims needed.
I agree, and you know best 2 grows out of 3 might be necessary to really test each light to the fullest, one grow with 2 clones isn't set in stone absolute undeniably hands down guaranteed winner of all there is to be and known as full truth on the matter, there still a few variables that could use some tweaking, certain strains may prefer the HLG over the HGL and vice versa, certain environmental factors may have played a role here or there, and well all I'm saying is one grow isn't an absolute final answer and there is still need for further trial runs to know which light is without a doubt superior over the other.

And also I agree @growingforfun we need hybridway to post his full wattage used to know what to calculate together to get us our gram per watt total for each light setup he/she ran this run, it's still a little unclear what to think of the numbers without this data. Thanks & Cheers.

Only scammies 11 accounts lol

Honestly hgl would have had to produce significantly more for me to ever concider growing under any other color than white.

Quality of life matters

LMFAO was thinking to myself their are at least 11 people from the RIU forums who went to class near the Boiler room in high school .:wall:

Congrats on getting to the end Hybridway.

I know you've taken some flack and had some issues, bugs, defs, and It must be difficult to not take that all to heart man.
Where HGL is concerned feelings run very strong, never been so much division since that closed thread on LEDs from a few years back.

I feel its a shame it wasn't Amare or some other light company rocking this spectrum, because im sure a lot of us would of shown more of an interest in the spectral differences and kept more open minds if HGL were not at the forefront of the conversation.

Regardless you pulled some awesome looking product from both lights.
Be good to see some pics of some of the best buds from each light side by side and obviously here the smoke report later.

One thing though, get some bigger pots man! 10-15gal , im sure you will find the whole process easier.

Was anyone tracking the watts used ? I seem to remember a ton more watts used by hgl as well.
A gpw breakdown would be nice.

I think that overall this was a grow that any average person could be happy with an provides a good example of the lights value
267 more watts in veg to reach the same ppfd

"Hgl=575w i think & HLG is 308 rn.
Both plants receiving 5-600 u4mols"

If you look at both plants it seemed the HLG side was smaller overall. Makes you wonder if a little more intensity was used during veg the size of the finished plants would have been closer. With a 100% equal canopy size I think the final numbers would've been a bit different .

Thanks @hybridway2 for doing your best to give us an unbiased side by side. As stated a few more runs will help give a better overall picture of the different characteristics of each light.

Yeah if you looked at power draw for the whole grow the hlg absolutely crushed it! Based on the watts used at the very end of flower you still crushed it

At the end of the day it was a spectrum test hybrid used far less power with hlg to make it somewhat fair. Apparently white spectrum is better. It would be cool to see a side by side for the actual fixtures instead of a spectrum side by side but that probably won't happen
