I pay $1.60 for a 30 gallon reservoir on Jacks; so way under that number.
The point was that @Tim Fox said he used to pay $10 a gram back in the day. I was making the point that in today's Canada you can get it from the Feds for under $5 a gram. I was making a comparison between the past and the present; not comparing it to my own costs.
Sorry, missed that.

The biggest cost is energy, then the space, then nutes. I ran dry nutrient salts as well and still recommend them to everyone who will listen.

20 years of hydro is a lot. What kind of systems you use? I'm into the GH aeroflo's and rainforests but they're dying off.

It can be old and dry, but they all have dates and you can check before you buy. I rarely go in myself. Caught the hysteria when it went legal and waited in line the first day. I went back about 6 weeks ago for a few oz's between harvests, but I avoid it mostly.

Recirculating Deep Water Culture system with waterfalls in each tubsite, no air pump or stones.

The plant was grown vertically on a 4x6' trellis panel with the lighting in front and white plastic behind it.

ive never sold weed,, i have always been a consumer,, i did grow back in the reagan days ,, and was afraid i would get tossed into a russian prison for my garage grow plants, my garage got broken into once and the thief didnt even take my plants ,, he took tools, but my box was open and the light could be seen by anyone coming down the alley ,, ,so i tore it all down and never grew again until oregon went legal, here in oregon the stores are owned by people who want to own a store, the state simply taxes the sales and sets the rules,, so free market sets the prices, which really helps to keep prices low, , i can easily afford to pay the dispensary prices here,,, we have a glut of weed, but i like to grow, and enjoy it allot,, the up side is i dont have to spend money on weed, and smoke what i grow, nice thing was i started growing right away here in oregon while the state was still tryng to set up the system and process,, and i bypassed all that while i sat back and smoked my own,, thanks to @Humanrob for his help back then,, you rock brother

I used to buy weed in so cal for 10 dollars per gram and 30 per eighth , it's way cheaper now than it was back then , I still struggle looking over my shoulder when walk into a state run legal store

Yeah man, That they legalized it in NY, and suddenly my 5 lbs was legal... LOL!!!

Told my wife I wanted to weigh out a couple ounces to put in my truck... So we have an emergency supply just in case we ever stop somewhere and want to hang out.

But, yeh, even taking a shower, it will dawn on me. "Wow, it's legal..."... but that criminal feeling remains.

2 things I buy new every year..... my 1 gallon x 3 General Hydro 3 part series.

and a new Hortilux Super HPS bulb.

Total cost is around $220 - 240 a year including electricity.

48 ounces in a year for $240 = $5.6 a gram....... =)

"Seniors with Medicare Advantage plans are more than twice as likely to leave their plan and switch to traditional Medicare during their last year of life, a recent government analysis shows. This may indicate potential issues with access to medical care or quality of care under Medicare Advantage plans."
