I’m 71. Bag weed was all I smoked till I went to nam.
That shit was as good as the stuff today maybe better but I’ll let you know when my Gorilla Glue #4 gets finished!

Me and some friends who play call of duty, started a clan called Tripple OGz. Old dudes only. I’m 54, Wizzy 54, Iceman 50, Screwface 51, Smoke eater 56, Duke 63 and Little Spy a 64-yr old Rastafarian from Cincinnati. We are the core of the clan and we do have some dudes in their 40s but below 40-yrs not allowed. We were just tired of the young stupid shit from Kids and young adults. In our lobby we laugh, joke, talk about our aches and pains and don’t care if we lose because we’re just having fun. In our lobby you hear coffee sipping and Kush coughs.

61 here... first time I smoked was when my cuz Little Billy and I raided my brother's tray that he kept under his couch back in the summer of 68. Me and my cuz laughed and laughed, good times!!! Then the first time I grew on my own was in the summer of 76. I traded a sheet of acid for like 100 Indiana Bubble Gum seeds at a Dead show in Indianapolis. Man, the shit we do in lives, crazy!

I’m a ‘62 model, which makes me 59. Been smoking for 45 of those and growing my own for the last ten. Life is good

62 and still learning! Have not bought any weed since it hit $50.00 for a zip. I remember those dry spells where we'd scrape our bowls, reroll roaches and just wish we had good weed. In high school, we laughed at a friend who got this green ditch weed. And we never smoked brown again!!!

55 here. Smoked my first joint in 1980 and grew my first plant a year or two later. Quit both for a long time (1990 to 2003) but back with a vengeance now..... Totally addicted to growing and have been for awhile.

I used to buy weed in so cal for 10 dollars per gram and 30 per eighth , it's way cheaper now than it was back then , I still struggle looking over my shoulder when walk into a state run legal store

I was dry for gosh 1989 to 2014 when Oregon went legal, prohibition sucked but I didn't want my kids to have a father in jail, wow those were long years and booze didn't do me so well either

In Canada we can get an oz from the feds now for $120 to $150. More expensive for grams and 3.5g. Kinda kills the market for homegrown.....

Lol shit. CA$120 x 16 = a shade under CA$2k/lb, or CA$4240/kg.

Just keeping it real; if you can't grow for a tenth of that price, you are doing something wrong.

I pay $1.60 for a 30 gallon reservoir on Jacks; so way under that number.
The point was that @Tim Fox said he used to pay $10 a gram back in the day. I was making the point that in today's Canada you can get it from the Feds for under $5 a gram. I was making a comparison between the past and the present; not comparing it to my own costs.
