help need advice for a budding plant lost alot of leaves !!!

my plant is about 4 or 5 weeks flowering and i was told to trim the lower third so i did and then leaves started yellowing and now i have prolly 4 or 5 good green fan leaves on the whoe plant well the tops still have leaves and there green and buds are still small but growing i just wanna know what to do to try to get the most out of em even tho i lost most of the leaves please help much respect to all

ummm if thats the case im not sure what you can do.... why did you trim off all the leaves again...

you normally take offall the bottom growth or just mae sure theres good penetration i try and leave leaves when i can but theres often the leaf you see doing more blocking of the rays than it would be contributing to growth.

either that or if the plants top half is done ya take that off and leave the bottom unfinished ones to fill out.

your plants fan leaves will start dying off as flower finishes anyways so you shuld have left some..... the fan leaves allow the plant to collect the lights rays and transfer and store it into energy for the plant.
 
My advice is to not trim anything until you are an experienced grower, because there's no harm in leaving the lower leaves and branches on a plant, are are risking harming them by trimming them if you're not sure what you're doing. :)

The best thing to do right now is to hit them with some veg nutes. They burn up alot of N during the stretching period, and will go deficient if you switch to bloom nutes too early. Then, alternate the veg and bloom nutes for the next couple weeks, then switch to bloom for the last 2.
 
wow lovin the fast response fuckin aweson shit also sorry for no pics my laptop dont have a place to put my card hella lame so onceagain my bad i can see how that would make it hard to help also jester naw its not the one in the pic thats some outdoor i did last summer they turned out fuckin awesome some of the stinkyist shit i ever smelled for some outdoor in seattle and last but surely not least Jaw thanks for the solid advice hate to admit it but my nute selection is minimal right now only ushing shultz orchid food for flower cuz it hat high p and low N and an average k (n=8 p=14 k= 10 ) what do you think would be a good ghetto addidtion to the water help give it what it needs ie a good nitrogen supliment i heard a lil uring that you let sit out for 24 but not diggin that idea a whole shit ton lol thanks for the input and mad respect to this site and you all much love keep the good advice comming its appreciated! smoking one for yall as i type hahah

if you watch my grow journal, it will show you a bunch of plants. but what i would like you to see are my plants mary and jane. now mary i have fucked with, cut her leaves, gave her extra heat to stress out resin glands and jane i left alone i only topped her, these plants will show you the differances in what cutting the leaves does, it slows growth you get less yeild but still a have decent plant. take a look as mary she is sick but jane looks like something from the heavens!!!! ill add some more pic's today for you to see in a couple hours!!
 
^Can you get your hands on some MG fert? Contrary to popular opinion, it works pretty good if you don't mix it according to the MG instructions. Mix it at 1/4 strength, and you won't have to worry about fert burn, unless you feed them every watering.lol Go with that fert for the first 2 feedings, then alternate with your bloom fert. That's just a guideline though, so don't take it as a "must do", because I "read" my plants and let them tell me what they need, so it's impossible for me to tell you what will definitely work for your own. It'll get you pointed in the right direction. :)
 
Jaw good lookin on the help props on stayin wit it im cashless in seattle as we speak so cant go buy some fert right away im gonna keep it up on the feeding also will use this as a lesson to learn from on my other plant its about 1month veg so ima stay clear of chopping leaves and get better nutes for that one come flower time im using cfl right now and fucked up and used one of the large coffee mate containers to plant the one im having trouble with so i would almost guarantee that its rootbound like a motherfucker but like and learn buds still growin bigger tho so im just gonna wait it out and thus to me next question how long is too long to flower aka im in no super rush but i dont wanna over due it and possible drain em of there goods or sumtin what are the tell tale signs of full maturity ??? thanks again !

depeneding if they are indica or sativa, indica's are usually 8 to 10 weeks flowering, sativa's way longer some up to 21 weeks. best way to tell is when the trichomes are mostly cloudy and a few are amber. plants usually double there yeild in the last 2 weeks.
