Something weird happened to me last night, I thought of this thread. I celebrated a harvest coming up, smoked alotta buds, then took a shower. While I was in the shower my stomach started hurting really bad and I got extreamly light headed. I leaned against the wall and next thing I now I wake up laying on the bottom of the shower. I then tried to get up and shut the water off, halfway through doing so I realized I couldnt hear anything, then I looked in the mirror, and no lie, I looked white as a fucking dead man. I mean my lips where straight white. I sat down for a bit and took deep breaths, and I was able to hear again. It was the craziest shit I've ever endured. If anyone knows what hat could have been, please let me know, Its the first time that happened, I assume It was realated to bad food or something, but man It was intense

'pins and needles' is a sign that not enough oxygen is available in the blood by the time it gets to your bodily extremities - the hands and feet are not high on the body's priorities to keep oxygenated so they are the first to be affected. It should only be a serious worry if it is accompanied with pains in the arm, chest or occasionally the back.
the main causes (as mentioned) are poor circulation or inhibited oxygen carrying capacity of the blood. if you find out which it is you can do something to prevent it. many people with poor circulation take an asprin everyday as it thins the blood, this will also help prevent a heart attack and/or stroke if you are at risk. If it's an oxygen carrying issue then only a doctor can help.
at the end of the day if you're concerned about your health then go and ask a health professional instead of a bunch of stoners on a grow forum, many of whom should not be taken seriously.

paranoia/ anxiety with physical manifestations?? you say its all you can think about when you get high, could that be something to do with it?? if you weren't constantly focused on how your arms/legs/forhead feels maybe it wouldn't be so apparent.... or then again maybe not!

My first time smoking was about 8 years ago. I got this weird tingling (pins and needles) feeling in my hands and felt like my mind was 2 seconds lagging behind conprehending my senses. I would pick something up but would not feel the sensation til about 2 seconds later. After the "high", the tingly feeling persisted but lagging part went away. even after a few months of being sober the tingling feeling comes and goes.
Everyone who smoked that night was just fine. I figured it was just part of the high.
A year or so later I try smoking again... same effects are back! but now takes more months to fade away. I try smoking a couple more times throughout the years with the same effect.
I havent tried smoking for over 3 years but the tingly feeling comes back from time to time even until now. There is no pain involved.. just an annoying tingly numbness as if there is a disconnect at the nerves.
I'm perfectly healthy (I hope..) and dont have any history of anxiety or anything mentioned previously. I get physicals and checkups every year and check out fine... I'm not knocking weed, just trying to pin point exactly what is going on. no pun intended.

i have also been smoking for a while and have never had this untill about 1 week ago when i smoked a fairly juicy bong. i was fine, not even high to be fair, and then i got a pins and needles feeling in my arms and legs, and that was a strange sensation.
i carriied on smoking for the week to come and nothing happend, but last night i had a smoke and my whole body was numb, the more things i touched, the more i felt the numb. causing it to panic me, i cant even keep my breath when this happends, i have a slight pannic attack everytime now, even when i have the smallest toot on a joint. i cant get high without tripping my ass off.

Years ago I would have scoffed at panic attacks and how serious they be for some people. Then I met my wife...and she gets them (not from smoking, because she doesn't smoke...be nice if she would just to calm her down now and then). I will also admit...I /did/ laugh the first time I saw her going through it...because from my perspective (a sane observer), there was nothing wrong.
Personally, I don't suffer anything psychosomatic. I even have a hard time catching visuals and whatnot when I trip. Apparently my mind just isn't powerful enough to effect my body.
For the people that do suffer from them though, just remember...its not real, you aren't dying, and if you find a way to distract yourself you can stop thinking about "whatever" and relax a bit.

I had this same type of thing happen, but I found out what was really doing it, caffeine.
I was drinking lots of coffee and drinking Mountain Dew all the time to stay awake and perform better at work.
I had all the tests done even MRI and they thought I had MS but I went in for an ultrasound on my heart and the guy running the machine told me a story about caffeine and how it can cause all those symptoms.
I tested it, I quit caffeine drinks and the symptoms were gone. After a month with no symptoms, I had 6 cups of coffee at work, I felt fine until that night when I smoked my usual bong hit and my fingers start getting the numbness and tingly feeling. I have never use caffeine since then and I feel great now 5 years later. No problems smoking as much I want to now. I would not have thought to cut out caffeine if it wasn't for that guy, he probably saved my life.

I know a girl that's allergic to weed, she describes the exact symptoms that you are describing.
She's not allergic to d9-THC though, so she can hit a vape and be fine... but as soon as the raw combustion materials from the plant enter her mouth... she starts freaking out like what you said..

Smoking weed increases heart rate and raises blood pressure. Would be a good idea to see a doctor to be safe.

i agree with the carpel tunnel guesses, but also, if you sit down and smoke, and keep thnking in your head that your gonna start tingling, thats all you think about, itd probably going to happen, the mind id a powerful thing!

i have huge pannic attacks when i smoke because i think faqr too much into everything...etc
and i also drink vast amounts of coffee everyday.
i never would of thought the coffee did anything..thank you!
