Thanks that's what I was getting at. I never actually smoked hash (besides scissor hash) so I'm not sure how much flavor it retains from the bud it came from. I've mixed different types of bud together before and sometimes it tastes a little funky. Didn't know if it was the same with hash or not.

similar but not exactly the same... you will get different highs, more or less pronounced effects, different flavors but the ones who market their hash sometimes mix to increase quantity... i like not only single strain batches but also separating the grades so as to really enjoy the effects from different grades from one plant or strain...

I'm spolied. I had two runs go hermie on me(30 plants), and I turned it all into bubble hash. Specifically, I made 2 grams of ultra-pure white/blonde hash,(using fresh cut, un-dried bud, only) that I've hoarded to myself, and it's amazing. I don't think I'll ever smoke bud again. :lol:

The taste is amazing, as well. So smooth..... bongsmilie

I have never made hash, but plan on doing so when I harvest this grow. I understand the process, but am wondering should I use the entire plant (sans bud of course), or only use the trimmings from manicuring the buds?

well on my plants i get alot of what i call popcorn growth. thats what i used to use, along with the trim.
but now i just grow and dedicate an entire plants to it, plus all my trim, so yea
