great update dude!!! that last plant is swelling up very nicely!!!! don't give up on that colloidal silver plant. I know when it is a male, the balls show up quicker than the females. but when it is a hermie the females showed about 3-4 weeks before the male parts came in.... this was years ago and it only happened to me a couple times with some bag seed but when it did, that's how it happened!

That sucks with the two that have the yellowing leaves. you had mentioned you have well water, as I do also. Is your PH steady? I notice when it rains hard my PH goes up a little. that could cause the yellowing.

looking forward to your multiple harvests on the horizon!!! Keep that good growin' goin'!!!

Thanks stoney, that last one is a fat bitch, huh!! Yeah, I think something maybe happening with the CS candidate, I just hate the yellowing. I will make more anyhow and try it again for sure. I think seed plants grow much better than clones, dont know why. Would be great to use the PC to make more seeds and just plant a seed every week or 2.

I cant wait for the next few harvests either, I wish I knew the genetics of this 12/12 from seed. The tric's are few and mostly clear that I do see. I love this royal kush. I bet it would breed well with NL. mmmmmmm, so much to do.

there are a few strains I've grown/lost and wish i knew the genetics also. it always seems to be the ones you don't expect and are not prepared for!!! I just ordered some tangerine dream seeds yesterday, it will be a great addition to my line up!!!! I'm also going to order a new grow light very soon.... maybe tonight if I could just decide on which one to get. I have it narrowed down to two, so i just need to pick one! good luck with that 12/12 FS!!!

Great stuff Gums... I'm thinking of starting a second grow (my freezer convert is the shit, but I want to diversify baby!) so I'll be using your PC grows as a template! Thanks for laying the groundwork for the rest of us!

I am glad my work is a help to so many, it makes me proud. Let me know if you have any questions!

How's the girls doing? Did you slip into a Green Dragon cloud?
Danielsbongsmilie
Man that green dragon did me right last night. They are not doing well. I have a problem but damn I can only flush so much, and when I try to feed lightly it dont help. I will try and do an update in the next couple days. It seems like a lockout honestly. Rust spots, but burnt tips, and some leaves are curling down/up every where! I let them dry out real well, like 2 days and no water for those little cups, and then flush them with 20 oz each (the joy of growing with 9 oz cups :D) I vaguely remember slowly letting my pH drop to around 6 from around 6.5 a couple months ago. I guess I did it out of lazyness partly, and then because I thought as I moved more towards hydro the lower rate would improve nutrient uptake. I really havent changed my medium, perlite and vermiculite. I did have to pick up some miracle gro perlite as opposed to what I had before, but it SHOULD BE inert! Funny how the clones do so well until I put them in flower. OH I also turned off one light to make sure I dont to much light or heat, but my thermometers dont say so. Oh well, its fun to work it out too! Take care buddy :D

man that sucks to hear dude!!! did turning off the one light help at all? did the temps drop from that?
like you said, i can't see the perlite causing it. can you add worm castings to mix? not sure if you can run that with perlite and vermiculite.... also maybe flushing with epsom salts would help if you feel it is locked out. Good luck and keep us posted!!

Well I let them dry out sunday and monday, then flushed them well yesterday, then turned the light off just this morning and some of the leaves appeared to be raising up, hard to tell. I dont think the temps are bad, i have taken readings in several places and none are above 85, maybe intensity, it is a small space with both 100 watt CMH's in there.

On a brighter note I should be harvesting the 12/12 from seed soon. I sampled it, quick dried it too long, and damn was it a good buuzzzz :bigjoint:

Sorry I couldnt get pic's today, and I have something tomorrow, so none tomorrow probably. An update soon for sure, sorry for laggin :bongsmilie:

If you're using well water and since you commented on its calcium deposits, you should check the ppm of your water to see if that might be your issue. It seems like you have a cup full of perlite also, so maybe try some soil in your cup /w perlite just at the very bottom. I don't trust miracle grow after their organic potting soil came crazy infested, doesn't drain much, and is basically bark dust. If you're gonna do straight hydro, as long as you stay up on the pH and keep the ppm in check, you will also need to make sure the water does not get over 75, preferably 65-70, and has air in it through a bubbler or just the falling as it recirculates, like a waterfall. Good luck.

The northern lights has recovered somewhat, showed pistils, and is drinking and receiving nutes without bitching. The others are what they are. I have pic's coming now, have to do the resize thing. BRB with an update, and a harvest :)

Hey everyone! Well its time for my slack ass updates, sorry folks. But here is a little update, and some harvest pics of the 12/12 from seed.
First up is a lineup of the tube. They are in somewhat bad shape, but I see some green tips on some of the buds, and the NL auto has recovered a bit. I gave a light feeding a couple days after a good flush.

Here is a royal kush clone almost done. I will let it go a bit longer than the last.

Here is another royal kush clone about 3 weeks into flower. The other one loooked like this too at this stage. Still unsure what I messed up :wall: While I know the leaves will not recover, they were drooping worse, and today they are still good. It has green coming back in to the tops also, so high hopes for a good finish!

Here is a TNR clone, the CS candidate. I stopped spraying because I seen no male flowers and it was killing her. I will probably pull her once I get a clone or 2 to replace them, should have one ready for flower next week.

The NL auto. It is what it is. These were sunday, she looks much better today. But she showed sex, so I wont get much more growth. I will be interested to see, but size dont matter much, The quality could be well worth it :)

Finally, the moment we all have been waiting for :) HARVEST YAY!! I seen some seeds, almost or maybe fully developed, while I was checking trichs the other day. I was planning on cutting real soon anyhow, but she told me she was ready :) Also some pre-harvest shots
