My first succesful cloning with DWC was similiar to this...
https://www.rollitup.org/t/easy-diy-20-bubble-cloner-a-picture-how-to.835810/. I got roots on two out of three of my cuttings. Water temps where around 73-74f.
I plan on moving up to a bigger one and itll be like this...

I built one of these and still waiting on results (aerocloner)

So I guess mine is kinda hybrid already since I do have air stones in the bottom and an aquarium pump in addition to the sparyers...... must be an issue with my water.. I am guessing temps.. well I have a bit until I need to get this down or even have the plants to clone from. Thanks for the info everyone!

What are your temps? Ive heard anything from 70-85f is ok. My aerocloner is at around 79-80ish.

24c always worked for me in a dwc bubble tub for cloning. Any colder and it would take an extra week at least.

11 days in the machine, but the first 8 days had the temps to low, <70 degrees, added aquarium heater and the temps have risen slowly to 75.6 as of today.
Are these the start of roots, the clones are still very turgent and not limp at all.

This is strange to me, and worrisome. Any ideas folks?

Yes. Those little circular bumps. Those turn into roots. Now that you got your temps up you should wait a bit more.

Also I recommend replacing water weekly. Sometimes even 4-5 days. That sludge pisses me off. I was thinking about putting in less than a drop of bleach to sterilize the water. I put my cuttings in my new aero bucket and when I add new water, it smells like straight up chlorine. When that smell goes away I replace the water.

My city water is so bad, How bad you may ask, well > 800 ppm. So I use RO with 1/4 of my tap (after chlorine has been vented off, usually wait 5 or so days to vent. This gives me about 225 ppm in my rez. I have changed it once, and today I plan on changing it again.
Do y'all use Clear Rez? I am wondering at what rate people use? It says one oz per 5 gallon, that's about 30 ml and that seems like a lot.
Also I am see a little discoloration in some of the foliage, was told I could use some Rapid Start, low N. Not sure I want to add nutes, any thoughts?
I know that a lot of questions but I really want this to be successful.

Never used clear rez. Rapid start or any beneficial isnt that effective until roots show from what ive heard. The discoloration is because the cutting is using those nutrients to make roots or the light could be too powerful from what ive heard. If it worries you you could foliar feed to get back some greenness in there.

The light is from a 2' - 4 bulb T 5, but only using one bulb with it @ 16" above the cuttings. Read this and have been told the height should be 12 to 18". This is a real learning experience, nerve racking but interesting and fun.
