Growing Under the Stairs with CFLs (My Video Journal)

not really this over a door really doesn't raise much suspicion and you can seal the light leaks and get some duck pipe and a in line carbon filter your good to go ill take care of two things at once......heat and smell and wont cost you that much BTW your grows good bro beat your self up next time when you do the same mistakes lol i know you had plans for that shit i grew to pay for a vacation ennded up getting a quarter ounce lol and then the second time i got 5 males

I hurt my White Widow by not giving it enough breathing room (it's not relevant to this journal, but I thought I'd show you the new "veg" room) that I setup last night. It's nothing spectacular, honestly.

A friend of mine suggested I get earth worms for my soil? I've never heard of anyone doing that. He says it will help aerate the soil. Anyone have any tips or suggestions for this?

But for CFL's to work the best you need to have them within 2-4 inches from your plant. you can go to ace hardware and get some shop lights for 5 bux and 5 26watt CFL's for $11 if you cant bring that crucifix closer i suggest add some side lighting..--
 
and the earth worms may work but how would the ferts. affect them? i think there are only good for organic but i have no idea.

a dryer ducting tube is an average 4 in...
the location of the ventilation hole is up to GreenNerd, we don't know the house, or growing area it is in.
venting to the attic is better than no ventilation at all, plus he's under stairs dumb ass, the attic is ways up from "under the stairs":wall:
also when i grew under my stairs, one of the walls backed my refrigerator. so i just drilled and vented to the back of the fridge.. kept the stealth element your looking for..
ill try find some of those pictures, that was a good 8 years ago..

i've never tried earthworms, but ive used wormcastings before. i can see earthworms being beneficial to your grow. soil microorganisms and plant roots can benefit from the extra air and water. earthworms will plow tunnels creating easy access for water and air..

this is an organic method and i think using different nutrient supplements may damage or effect the worms health..

you can just pick up 1$ can of worms from a local fishing/pro shop every so offten if the worms dye off.. compost!:leaf:

Thanks for the tips! I am def. going to get a vent on the door and block it with some sort of mesh material (to block light). I'm really hoping these plants finish flowering, because my WW is running out of space, and I'm not comfortable yanking the plant around. I know it may produce more of a yield, but I feel that it isn't natural as to how the plant was intended to grow (I'm a bit of a hippie, I suppose). But then again... maybe I'm just an ignorant pussy who's too chicken to grow differently. I've been told by a few of my closest friends that LST would be highly appropriate for the WW. The other plants are just bag seed, and honestly, I'm so tired of waiting for them to flower. I really can't stand the CFLs, and I'm so ready for better lights!

Anyways, please checkout my other threads. I think you may find them interesting.

WW responds very well to LST. It will make all the difference if you are running out of room. As for fluffy buds, that's cfls for you. You won't regret the better light but you have to get your circulation issues sorted out first. The buds look nice and ripe aside from not being as tight as you would like.
 
You plants in the video look very similar to mine. I thought they were ugly & I was doing a crap job. Stunted their growth, neuit burn, terrible lighting (shoplights only) but in the end, the bud was great! I think you may end being happy with the final product because you grew it yourself & if its like mine was, great smoke.
