growing under scrog need ideas

Hey guys this question is mainly for those who grow in soil under scrog, but anyone can answer if they have an idea..

i want to know how to get rid of all that water in the last 2 weeks of flowering when you have to flush. if i remember correctly it is recommend you flush 3x the capacity of your pots with water, so if you have 4 plants in 3 gallon pots, that's 36 gallons of water(!). in normal situations it would be easy to carry the plants to the bathtub or a drain and flush them there, but they will be growing under a scrog screen, so moving them will be impossible. i need some ideas thanks

Can syphon water out or attach the scrog net/fence to the pot your growing in?
i am using one large 4x4 scrog screen made of balsa wood and wire so all 4 plants will grow under that. i was thinking of buying some pumps or something to syphon the water but i'm interested in seeing how others do it first.

When I do my scrog soon I plan on using a tray under the pots with a single drain. Sort of like one of those shower floors. Purely for run off and keeping things clean.

it's difficult I used to get around it by flushing as I go... My watering schedule goes water, heavy water, feed, repeat... This helps stop salt from building up in the root zone and requires less of a flush when the end of flower comes, instead of a big flush I just 'feed' with plain water for 2-3 weeks, with the watering schedule I just mentioned it seems to work very well.

Other than that, try hempy with a valve on the drain that you can attach a hosepipe to.

Not gonna need 9Gal of Water,To Flush 1 Plant.Imo.I use FFOF soil And just like above poster just water last two weeks. What kinda soil you gonna use as it is one of the MOST important parts of grow for root Development?Sizing of pots good soil =bigger root system=Bigger plant and Buds.Beech.Unless you gonna grow in #3 Washtubs, with MG....

i am using the same soil. you are right 9 gallons is too much i think i am mistaken and the recommended amount is 2x the pot so it would be more like 24 gallons of water for 4 plants in 3gal pots which is still a lot of water so i may do what you guys recommend and flush over a longer period instead of two big flushes. i just know i had some real bomb ass stuff last time i harvested and i did it that way. very clean smoke.
that is a nice setup you got btw, what kind of wire did you use?

Thats not mine, from the scroggin thread.I think its a little overkill of soil, just my2 cents.I own a HVAC bus.and its off a A/C unit, made my table from 3/4 pvc in 10 minutes.Ive got pvc cutters makes it alot easier then Hacksaw. So you used FFOF on last grow?Check out that Thread alot of ppl gettin there Scrog on there, with bunch of pics and very good ideas.BEECH oh yea thats 5 plants 1 per blue box.
