Thanks, no I didn't bother, will weigh right before it goes into jars. Any guesses as to dry weight?

Id say anywhere from 11-15g. Whats goin to decide it is how big that cola is.

Yeah I'll break it down when I weight it, and discard the main stalk. In a couple of days we'll know. Not pictured is the undergrowth/popcorn buds. Prob just gonna make some hash out of those.

My girl was in a bad mood last night when she got home. I had taken the plant out and put it in the walkin closet. Keep in mind it was the size of a bottle of beer. She went to the bedroom, and didn't make a sound, just walked out of the bathroom smiling from ear to ear holding it. She said it was the cutest thing she'd ever seen. She couldn't stop laughing. Then I showed her my closet set up and she was laughing so hard. She was amazed I grew them hidden just a few feet away. Success!

No doubt she loves the idea of growing my own smoke. I'll post the total dry weight next week and then consider this thread closed. Next up - building tent and assembling my new 250HPS that's been sitting in my garage for a few weeks. On to bigger and better things.

Hell yeah, all is good. Oh yeah I can't wait for my HPS to get set up this weekend. Going to be an awesome change from CFLs

i got a LR #2 right now that is/was as small as yours at around week 3.

we shall see where she takes me at week 4 - 8 - hoping she grows up just like yours.

granted that all strains/genetics play a different role per plant.

congratulations tho! -- let us know the final dry weight + smoke report.

Thanks Sense, for reminding me I never posted the final weight lol. It was exactly 14 grams not including the popcorn buds. Not a whole lot, but seeing as I am a total noob, and the CFL and all, really happy with the result. Would have posted weight pix, but I weighed it at a buddies house, and we were pretty damn stoned so I forgot to snap pix. Lol.

Gave my buddy some buds (he is my growing mentor) and my girl and I are going to smoke up the plant beginning about another 2 weeks or so. So far, I gotta say the Short Rider isn't the best thing I've ever smelled but of course, quality and dankness come with experience and genetics, and I'm on the way there. Currently I have a few plants going in a new tent under a 250 HPS. Not the grandest of lights, but, again this is for our personal stash and, above all..... FOR FUN.

The plants I have going now are some Blue Widows from Dinafem and some Cheese Quakes from TGA. Hoping to get some serious dank this time or at least improve on the last run!!!

I don't think I'll be making any grow logs but I'll def post some pix in other threads... the 250 HPS Club, Subcools threads, etc.... Just to show off my work, if all goes well.

I know this is late, but great job and great thread. My girl loves growing, after she planted her first seed she was on board. Just a little suggestion, grab yourself some epsom salts, gradually increase dosage starting at about 1/4 tbsp per gallon at 2 weeks, itll drastically increase nute uptake and help with the leaf tacoing i noticed. Other thAn that, you did an epic job mate, im excited to see my haul with cfls see how it compares. Good luck on your future grows, it goes up!
