lower light intensity will slow her growth down . The screen will still be full enough to flip when your space is available again in a week. The lower intensity will help curb much overgrowth.I feel people are underestimating the stretch on GG. I forgot you were in sips, so she may not be as fast as soiless or hydro in growth
Also, in my earlier post, I didn't mean the overgrown screen to be a bad thing. It is better imo to overgrow the screen and prune back at flip what you don't want, as opposed to not filling the screen and waisting canopy space with empty holes in your net.
You won't "master" the scrog on your first run of the strain, it should be a learning experience for theclone of the next run. As stated previously, comoare your growth from a week ago until now and you can gauge pretty much where she'll be at in a week ie. hiw many tops she has put on,how much stem growth has occurred etc.

Do you think she has a pretty good root zone established? Another thing to consider when thinking how much growth she'll see in the upcoming week.
Adding a bigger screen might just be the easier/best option. That way, you aren't sacrificing growth by pruning back good growth for space while increasing your yeild.
Win Win!
yea i. just gunna take a few clones, and trim her back, and as for the roots I'm highly positive it has a massive root structure! I don't think it would have dwarfed the other plants that are a month older, if it didn't have a good root structure!

Just got caught up on your thread man. Looking good and loving the SIPs. You may have seen that I was doing an aerobic style SIP with pumice as the soil wick in my thread. I really do like the way it worked out... but for convenience to my lifestyle right now, I'm getting back on the blumat train haha.

I know you sent me a message a while back. What exactly were you looking for some info on? I'll help however I can.

I honestly don't remember man lol, but everything is going smoothly, had a small hiccup with a mag problem, but that's been solved with a Epsom foliar, and everything is going great, only real issue I'm having is the gg needed to be flowered last week, and my flower room is under maintenance, had a hot water heater busted, and it's in the wall of my flower room, so it will be about a week before it's set back up and rdy to go, so I'm going to have to move it into flower, and expand my Scrog net by about 8 in on each side and that should handle the growth! but we will see how it goes, honestly at this rate I could make it cover the entire 5x5 with just one plant, which I might do depending how long until I can start flower!

well everything is still going smoothly, today is the first time had to fill up my sip since originally filling it the first time!

hoping to start flowering any day now, wanted to start last week, but bc of unforseen circumstances, my flower room had to be torn down and hidden until my hot water heater is fixed.(hopefully tomorrow) but since the gg has already grown 100% of my scrog. once I'm able to put this beast into the flower room, I'm going to take down this scrog, and make a bigger one, possibly 7in-14in longer on each side,(I measured this scrog to be able to fit between my my door ways so it can be drug into flower room) depending on all that, I may even let her cover the entire 5x5 tent, and just veg for another 2-3 weeks under the hps, but we will see once I'm set up again!

also as u can see, even tho I've ran out of space on my scrog, I'm still tucking away the best I can! I'm trying to best to tame this crazy stretch that's coming up! pics are before and after tuck!

Love the health I'm seeing in this garden GT. That glue is an absolute beast. you still have some room in that scrog you have. if you're flowering within the next few days... i'd just ride with the current setup.

are u sure??? bc everyone has been telling me the gg can stretch anywhere from 100% all the way up to 200 or 300%!

most have said I need to keep tucking, well into the third week of flower! I can't do that with this scrog, even if I flipped 12/12 right this second!

but thank you, and yes despise the entire world falling around me, these girls are all looking healthly thankfully, the cool part is I haven't even been into the veg room in a few days lol. I love being able to just leave my girls and let them do their own thing, and come back without any issues!

also as you can see I have zero room in veg! it's over grown like a jungle, counting the seconds until I have my flower room back!

and if u see the gg in the pic, the two big girls next to it are cookies and chem, and they are a month older than the gg! just crazy amount of growth! it's dwarfed every other plant in veg, regardless of their age! also the cookies and chem are sitting on buckets about 7 in high!

i see lots of weaving that could still be done. but you could just say better safe than sorry and make a new screen. you're not at the point of no return yet

I do know about 12-16in above the screen is about the max height I want the girl to get, if not she will be growing into the light and the others will have to have "booster seats" just to get some dam light! that's one of the reasons I thought about letting it cover the entire 5x5 alone! wouldn't take but 2 to 3 weeks more of veg max!

I started from seed, only got 2 females out the entire pack! but I've got 3 clones of each pheno just in case in find something special!
i hear its a real solid cross. seen quite a few nice photos of it in the greenpoint thread, if you care to sort through all the BS LOL. But 2 is better than 0! I'm hoping to get lucky again with the female count on my jelly pie and cookies n chem. gonna start 6 of each here in the coming weeks

I've enjoyed my jelly pie alot, but I gave a buddy my two phenos and he plans to crossbreed them, so I may get rid of my jelly pie, as for right now I'm just keeping clones of it on the "back burner" just trying to keep a tiny clone of each for a Lil while, I've learned my lesson by being hasty and just killing things lol! id rather it sit off to the sidelines and have it and never need it, rather than killing it, and finding out I should have kept it down the road!

yeah i'd like to do a seed run and a clone run with the 7 moms of the texas butter i have right now, just to see if there is any variance between the two. I have two dawg leaners that look literally almost identical. only one real OG leaner, and the other 4 are a hybrid of the two.

I'm also planning on popping the bodega bubblegum as well. i have a few others from them too... but stuff like the deputy.... 85 days (which was not what the site said or i wouldn't have bought it).... no thank you, not in my current space anyway. I may sow them outdoors or something next year if I can find someone who wants to let me borrow a space in their yard :)

edit: thinking about it now... i'll never be able to run the deputy outdoors in MI hahaha. Not where I live anyway. Not enough days in the growing season :)
