i've seen a lot of bad advice being posted repeatedly also. I too have gone to school for horticulture and botany. i also have 4 years of growing mj experience. i grow vegetables and trees too.

i don't post stuff unless i have some references to back it up. i only got one bad response ever.... and it was from a newer grower; he blamed me for his plant burning, and then a noob showed up with over 1,000 post and attacked me over my advice, but his references were youtube hahaha... soooooo as it turns out the newer grower mis-read the instructions and added like wayyyyyyy to much fertilizer. he figured it out and apologized since.... so its all good,

but that noob with tons of post and no experience is Missing.In.Action still, go figure.

hey whats up smallclosetgrower! I'd love to pick your brain, and my girls sure could use your expertise!
They are in day 13 of flowering, and around day 9 the bottom 1/4 - 1/3 of the plants all started wilting excessively, then yellowing, and eventually dying.
Is this normal to happen? Is it caused by not enough light penetration to lower leafs? They were fine during veg...
Could it be some sort of root issue? Thanks!

i dont think its a hard question but i havnt really found my specific problem anywhere else, for marijuana at least... the veins are turning yellow, nothing else is and only the main veins like the ones going from the base to the tip of each petal. its in the ground with basic dirt, i use gen hydro 3 part formula and have jyust started in the last 2 waterings putting bat guano into my water 1tsp/1gal

OK, so I'm completely proud to say that im a noob, working on my first grow. I've a closet, approx 13 feet high, 6 ft wide, and 3 ft deep. I am veging a white widow ( fem) in just plain old miracle gro. I germed the seed via papertowel method. I placed it in a poy 10 in in diameter, and wateder approx once a week ( until soil bone dry) I waited until the third set of seaves came out transplanted into much bigger pot (final home) and placed under 250 hps hanging approx 8 in from top. I used hand method to make sure it wasnt too hot...I don't believe it was. I watered well and added miracle now tomato feet (remember, I'm a noob...) just a pinch with water. Now, two days later the plant looks yellow in patches (relatively big) along with dry, brown spots and new growth is completely fried. I have the plant directly under the hps, approx 8 in. I have moved it to approx 16 in and have flushed ( I case of possible nute burn??) Oh, in the soil, I've added perlite (at the beginning of this process...I'm just revalling details to be specific...) HOPEFULLY, photos will com. Did i transplant too early, was light too low, nute burn, is this young lady viable? Thanks all...I've been reading this sight for quite a while, and have gleaned many thoughtful tips. I've done hundreds of hours of research and reading and have decided to delve into this wonderful world of growth. Any advice or tips are appreciated immensly!
