I made this glycerin tincture also, but when I made mine, I used a different method (crock pot) and, some different measurements.
In my first attempt, I used a 1/8 of dank and a 1/2 of abv. And I stuck it in a crock pot, and left it 14 hours...... This was a mistake, However not that big of a mistake. The low setting on the crock pot was to high, and my stuff just sat there vaporizing all night. Even though my stuff came out decent, it could of been better.....
In my second attempt I made some altercations...and had a few realizations.....
Realization 1. People making tinctures are trying to get the most out of what little meds they get! Not everybody, has 2.5 oz of bud to throw off into something that they don't know will work or not.
Realization 2. A regular crock pot gets to hot, unless you have a digital.
So in making my next batch I've kind of tailored this recipe, and made some revisions.
if you want to try it OK, and if not OK.
This next batch will require 16 oz of glycerin I got mine here
http://www.ahp-online.com/Vegetable-Glycerine-16-oz_p_337.html cost me eight bucks.
3\4 oz of herb, ground fine.
And I bought one of these Little Dipper warmers, instead of a regular crock pot.
