So, how did 2 clone only genetics get crossed into eachother to make this Platinum? The male had to come from somewhere..unless its a hermie pollen chuck or CS reversal. And who did this cross? Thanks.

GSC, not clone only. Thin mints are clone only. GSC is not. Thin mints are a phenotype of the strain that's been turned into a clone only. That does not mean GSC is clone only. How can a strain with multiple phenos be clone only? That's impossible.

I have a few of MO's GSC cuts ...are these slow growers as mothers....got everything dialed in and seems like they're stunted or something... Also I heard that this strain is somewhat pest and disease resistant?

I guess it's how you look at it. From Sins video, Berner and his boys are saying GSC and thin mints are the same thing and any bag seed that comes from that is blanketed with the name fortune.
You have to wonder what happen to all the other Phoenos from that original cross. I don't hear anyone talking about that. Did they just throw those mothers out?

Every strain, including every clone only, has multiple phenos. Every clone only is the best pheno of any pollen chucked cross. That's what makes them clone only... that you cannot easily replicate them using the parent plants. Sure you may have the parent plants, but the "clone only", the "elite", is that one in one hundred that is great. Without stabilizing the hybrid you have a small chance of finding that pheno again. This is what makes them "clone only".
You may be able to produce GSC seeds using the correct and exact parents and lineage, but unless you stabilize it to produce the most desirable pheno.... well you're pollen chucking and hoping to find that superior expression of the genetics that is referred to as a "clone only".

Well you can't get a new pheno just by taking a clone of a clone, that requires seeds. If you watch that video a few pages back, they've got berner chilling with one of the guys from the crew who made it and they say there are seeds. So, yes, impossible.

I've got mo's cut too. Very very slow in veg. I'm flowering two of them, the buds look fantastic. Probably worth it. I picked up a couple of them and was planning on taking cuttings so I could have a mom, but they never really got big enough. my scm gsc are so damn slow its insane....my dhn cookies and scm gsc both grew just as slow....considering just buying new clones instead of trying to clone my own, doesnt even seem worth the wait lol

Have to say DHN and MO cuts are the slowest growing cuts I've ever encountered.....anyone else ever veg out a strain that took this long?......again its like they were sprayed with Bushmaster to stunt them to prevent consumers from mothering them out......kinda like how dog breeeders wont sell you a female to prevent you from breeding pups yourself.....you can only get pups straight from the breeder......i swear they grow only about a 1/4 inch a day if you're lucky.....somedays I feel like they don't grow at all...

Mine veg pretty normal and grow vigorously, especially the roots, they bust out.
