Nice, makes it look even more attractive. SSH is one of my favorite strains. The in NL popular amnesia haze is supposedly an SSH pheno and not really soma's Amnesia haze. It's probably the most grown clone here, for years already. It's what I usually buy when I buy rolling paper, SSH, AH, or Silver Haze. I plan to get a clone of it next year that's been going around in my area for a while, main reason I haven't is cause I have to physically deal with other growers. lol that sounds bad... point is stealth, nobody knows I grow, small world etc... Anyway, yeah man, sure looks like a winner so far.

I think for many growers it's 90% quality from genetics "minus" most of what the grower does. :D Growing haze(-hybrids) so healthy does require a happy environment and proper treatment so you're doing great.

Looking good in there Ayr0n, think you're right about those 2 GG1 colas, probably a little too close to the lights, some light/heat stress. Lots of time to recover, nothing to worry about, rest of it looks healthy.

Thanks boss. Fully expecting her to bounce back, prolly didn't help when I accidentally tripped on the tent entrance while carrying her right after the flip lmao. Seems like the stress cost a couple days, but it's all good. She's just gonna take it easy for the rest of her life. Plain water for a while longer, no more LST - but still gonna rotate her every couple days...

Yeahhh that's probably closer to the truth lol. I'm chilling at a steady 65, looking to pick it up late game haha...

If that's 65% I really need to step up my soil game. ;) I don't think you belong to that 'many' group, that SBA looks 90+ already, you're one of those green thumb fellas who cares not only about the bud, but also about the plant. I look forward to see your results with that new tent.

damn I wish I would have grabbed more than 1 cut of the SBA...Might have to keep that cut as a mother n get some more off it. That shit is lookin nice. Can't decide if I want to chuck GG 2 pollen at GG 3 or the SBA or both lol. When the flowering tent gets cleared out I was planning on moving everything over to that tent to veg longer and trying to flower out the GG 2 male with a couple females in the small tent under that LED lol. I've never made seeds so it'll be interesting to say the least.

Go for it if you have the space, pollinate a branch or two on both and see what you get. No need to keep a mom unless you think you'll run it for a long time. I've been cloning a JTR from clone each round and keeping it going with no dedicated mother. Haven't seen any issues with them, the 5 Gal JTR, around 6 clone from clone generations in, will likely be the largest/heaviest yet :bigjoint:

Oh shit I never thought about just putting pollen on a couple branches...gonna have to read up on collecting pollen n keeping it viable. Thanks man, that's gonna really save me some time / space. I was gonna literally stick the male in with a couple females n let them fully flower n just let a oscillating fan blow the pollen around :lol: Your idea is probably a little more efficient / ideal

Yeah, it's easier and better for space if you can manage it. Collecting the pollen needs some dedicated space but only for a few weeks, males flower fast, once you collect the pollen, you kill the male and then paint it on specific buds/branches, tag them for reference if you're using more than one pollen source. Lots of info out there on collection methods. I just let the male flowers get ripe, chop the flowers, tap the pollen sacs into a freezer bag, mix with some white flower about 5:1 ratio flower/pollen (helps wick up any moisture, pollen and moisture don't mix) . Keep it in the fridge if I'll be using it within a couple of weeks, freeze it in a mason jar/rice for longer storage. It seems to be good for about 4 -5 months, just used some 6 month old JTR pollen and it didn't seem to take, the 4 month old Blueberry was good though.

Sure looks like a nice candidate to clone further and fill up at least half that new tent. Nice to have some variation in the jars but it's also a good experience to just run 1 strain from clones and do a quantity run, and that SBA sure seems suitable so far.

You're going to be amazed how many seeds a little bud can produce. First attempt for me creating seeds was with Tiresias Mist, reversed a male and kept harvesting pollen, applied it on females in many ways. I got one viable seed, one dead, maybe hemp pollen blew in. I was too hasty harvesting the pollen or the TM didn't work as effective as it should on that strain. Whatever the reason, I wanted to make sure I got enough seeds the next time, so I pollinated a third of all buds/colas, using pollen from a male this time. The results were that that one third of the buds were fully seeded, a third had some seeds, and a third had little to no seeds. I ended up with thousands of seeds. Removing mature seeds from bud is easy but with fans on and an orgy with that lucky male you'll end up with half mature small seeds too which can ruin a good bud.

The rounds after that I found that if I pollinate one small side/lower bud that looks like it has like 20-25 pistils, I get 50+ seeds on that bud alone.

You only need one small branch from a male to get enough pollen for hundreds of seeds even if you don't dilute it. I know others do and it works, it just haven't had the need for it. Every time I end up with pollen I collect but don't actually use, I just grab some fresh pollen from a branch when I need it. Storing pollen for longer periods is difficult, especially till the next cycle. Easier to keep a small clone and flower a clone/branch of that. Or if you're going to use the same run, put a branch in a glass a water once some of the balls get big, behind a window in daylight or under fluo, and you can harvest pollen for a week+.

Ime the easiest/best way to collect is is to use a transparent plastic tube container. Like those old camera film roles. I shove it around the ... my internal rant alarm is going off... Let me take and post some pics in a couple of hours, I've been collecting pollen for the past few days and will pollinate some flowers today.

It'd be awesome to just have 1 strain on the other side of the tent. Definitely wouldn't mind it being the SBA. Variety is nice, but dialing in on 1 strain n getting a phat ass harvest would be nicer ;) I think having these 4 different strains that are all over the place size wise and structurally was more challenging than anticipated n probably will hurt the overall yield from this run. I'm trying to stay open minded n not assume the first damn plant I grow is a keeper, but neither the GG 3 nor the SBA look like something I'd like to let go just yet and I would have loved to see what a female version of that GG 2 woulda turned out to be lol. Decisions decisions....

Hey rant away bro, it's all helpful. I wouldn't mind losing a little bud in exchange for some viable seeds of various crosses. Bud is easy to come by but finding that killer strain / pheno is the real goal. Prolly should load up some jars before I get too crazy on breeding just to keep the machine running in the meantime :lol:

Right now the clone tent has
1x GG 2 (male)
2x GG 1 (fem)
3x GG 3 (fem)
1x SBA (fem)

so the idea was to throw 1 GG 3 and the GG 2 clone in a little motel suite to get freaky, but now everybody might get a quicky on a branch or 2 lOl.
