getting clones in ontario?

I grew outside for 25 years. Since moving inside I think I have tried every major breeder and most of the well known strains. I am a seed buying junkie. Ive tried every strain from Serious cept Serious 6, about 7 TGa, at least 10 Bodhi, about 6 Greenthumbs, the list is long.
Standouts for me were Greenthumbs Bubba, Paradise Ice Cream and Serious' Kali Mist

Dr Greenthumb sells or at least did sell a strain ( or two ?? ) that finishes early and seems to fit the Ontario climate. I don't see it on his site anymore....weird.

IMO we don't have the season or climate to produce good outdoor in Ont. All ya end up with is a buncha outdoor med grade schwagg. Lets face it if you smoke the best normally who wants that outdoor stuff. At least I've never seen any that compares to indoor in Ontario anyway. I may be wrong but someone better have something very special to out do superb indoor.

Autoflower yes One crop and get out of dodge before the heat is on. Plant more seeds of you want bigger harvest. Nothing beats 60 days from seed of disease free plants. If for some reason you want to let the sun dictate when it is time to harvest.. You must choose a strain that is done in September. Start moms now and you will have tons of clean clones come spring.

I have tried every possible way of battling mites. In my early days I even tried some of the "available in the US but not in canada" formulas. I found the most effective killer to be "mighty wash". I used it once and no mites for the remaindeR of the crop. Apply, raise and turn off lights, blast with water before lights turn back on. That being said, no matter how diligent I was in washing off with water (including blasting in the dark and rinsing in the dark) my plants were ALWAYS burned. So you gotta do your treatment before flowering as to not damage bud sites

Total destruction only solution.. Kill all and start again clean from good seeds in a clean environment.

I still have a jug of Mighty Wash. I agree it will save a crop and is the best I could find. I do perpetual too and there was no hope but to start over.
As for auto's..I liked Greenthumbs Iranian Auto. Done by end of Aug and pretty impressive smoke. Keep the light on them 24 hours and they dont start flowering til they see some darkness. They are not 'true' autos as there is no ruderalis in it which makes it even better imho. No watered down ditch weed in the mix.
Last I checked they were on sale for $120 for 10 fem beans. Thats pretty good price for GT

Mark told me that his seeds were sold as souvenirs and they cant talk about germination issues so he could only offer me $10 off my next pack.
And that was after buying three packs and not getting one viable seed.

Weird. When I told him him there were 3 unrooted clones in the tray he gave me 10 new ones
