Friction Loss equation air ducting? Max FPS

Does anyone have any information on friction loss for different diameters of air ducting, in reference to loss per foot based on diameter. And does anyone have any info on statistics on average max CFPS can move through different diameters of ducting?

It is called static pressure and can be looked up on the fan manufacturer's websites usually. Blowers are better for moving air through long lengths of duct

you could in theory engineer a system the way your questions suggest. or, you could buy an oversized fan with a variable speed controller and adjust the fan to meet your needs.

the theoretical approach has so many ways to go wrong (not accounting for turns in the ducting, leaks, equipment like carbon filters etc) that you're only getting a rough estimate anyway

still looking for hard numbers and rates of loss based on the ducting not the fan.

Huh? If its engineered and not 'from the hip with a huge fan' its right, as opposed to the guess work and after thought. Turns, leaks, pressure drop over a filter, etc are common factors for an engineered design.
