Hi Everybody... Burp (Barny's voice over)

I have a Roadrunner #1 at 40days or 6weeks, 3 weeks into flower, centered under a 400w hps 9 inchs above, Just lsd, using Ionic bloom and boost at 1.3 EC, three feeds one plain water, ph 6.8-7.0 filtered water, in 10 inch round pot in soil, lollipopped (lower branchs only), shes 26 inchs or 66 cm tall, fairly lanky but slowly filling out.

Problem I noticed yesterday, the soil probe indicated near dry about 10 hours after I watered and feed her with 2 litres, which normally lasts 48 hours, the only thing I could think of is that I have up'ed her nutes and lsd, Is this normal?

Thanks

Ha I knew I forgot something...sorry

Temps at 27~28c day 20-22c night

Humidty 30~40 day 40~50 night

Has not changed the entire grow, reason for concern

As plants get bigger they consume more water, I had some 7 footers last go round that drank a gallon a day in a DWC system.
She looks happy and doesnt look overwatered she may just need more water or needs it more often.

i agree........

Yeah part of me thinking this, But this has just been a sudden change since I'v up the nutes yesterday, Is this her way of saying she likes bigger meals? funny it was 2litres~48hr to 2litres~24hr, Her pot is defantly as light when dry and the probe is working normally as I have tried a few

FTR i think 7 ph is a tad high. i go for 5.8 -6.2 i believe lockout is a concern below 5 and above 7.

I changed from 250hps a few weeks ago, I'm still waiting for a replacement ph meter atm, but will slowly adjust this to 6.3~6.5 shortly. Defantly not lockout as Iv had this before but will cheak her e.c runoff when i water her. what is FTR??? lol

mines gone from once every three days to twice a day in the last week, but the temps are high for this time of year over here, but not high enough to be a problem, avg. 17c in the day..

I have a plant at the same age and the same exact thing happened to me yesterday. My environment didn't change at all and I had been watering every 3 days then yesterday for some reason it needed it back to back days. It must have thought it was happy hour all day..hahaha

he's not in hydro....6.5-7.3 is fine in soil. my runoff ph is 6.7 - 7.0, and nutes going in are ph'd @ 7.3 to keep lockout's from occurring. anything higher than 7.3 or LOWER than 6.5 (in soil) will result in a lockout.
