But my bill spiked from 110 bucks to 194 in one month ..... im only running a 250w blackstar led which only really draws about 120v ...... is there anything I can do to save more money I replaced all lights in my house with cfl,s. Other than running the AC set too 78 and everything else is on power save ??? any ideas

250 watt light should only be about $20.00 a month

there is on and off peak hours I try to use them off peak hours which is 11 to 10 pm so ... run the lights at night will save some cash .....

This has to be true, especially when there are at least a dozen hydro shops in central Florida that I know of.

I also heard we have the most indoor grows here. Its funny because people that don't know that fact would never guess so many people grow in Florida. We have houses packed together so tightly that it would be nearly impossible to grow outside unless you live next to two old couples that can't smell or even get out of the house

lol ehh it not always just who you live around, ive driven through neighborhoods that have had some pretty stinky areas. hell ive driven down some main streets where houses are about a football field away and still smelt the good smell lol. like damn people have you ever heard of a carbon filter. when you can smell it from that far away your just asking to get caught and theres almost no way in hell its one or two plants stinking that bad.

believe it or not, some peopler do garden outside in Fl... not necessarily Miami because its too heaty. Central and north Florida have a few spots... obviously theyre well hidden if you havent seen them!

I heard the po's have a heat detector gun that they point at houses during the night which will show if you have a hot room in your house. Because it's in the middle of the night, the outside temperature is a bit cooler so they can see a difference. Not sure if this is enough for them to get a warrant or not but make sure you have extensive cooling during the evening - if youre in Florida.

do like I said before. put a live webcam stream on a room, buy a buncha hps and put them in said room... grow some tomatoes indoors, then sue the shit out of le when they break down your door for wanting to make some salsa roja.
enjoy the fruits of your labor when they decide to bust a house which wasn't growing weed but just something to feed him/herself and family. probable cause isn't always probable cause. boom boom mommy mommy.

Ahhh. Outdoor time is here after a long wait. I only got one fine baby girl stated at the beginning of the season. I have room for two more. I am experimenting an old native American technique of growing in the sand. About five days ago I buried a five gallon buckets worth of fish guts/ Heads/ Backbones and tails in a hole. I put about a foot of dirt over that. I will give it another five to eight days before I plant on it. My other spot will be completely organic soil and nutes. Good grow all my Florida amigos.

perhaps I should have been more specific. if you feel you are under surveillance or your neighbors are assholes and you feel threatened, not a bad idea.

Bay county here, panama city beach to be exact. but believe me im not one of the shotgun house hicks that inhabit n/w fl. your the bomb for starting this thread. i wish i knew someone around here to get some clones from or atleast start a circle with. also its gay as hell that we gotta wait till 2014 to hope for the medicinal law to be passed since it got bunked here again this year. anyone know anything else about that besides that it got bunked. please fill me in
