I hope this finds you all in great health and spirit. I am a longtime reader and subscriber to RiU and love seeing how the community has grown over time.
In the near future I'll be relocating to DC and I'm aiming to find anyone who has in hand (or knows of someone) the seeds they gave away after I71 became active. I would really like to find some clones of said seeds but I haven't yet clarified the rules & regulations of clone sharing in DC. I have some beans already of various strains and they are my go-to's. I feel the addition is essential to my (and any growers) collection. I see the seeds as a major piece of history in my opinion, for novelty and political reasons. Plus I wanna see what Lady Liberty is working with.
I am aware the selling of seeds or cannabis in the area is prohibited and everything must be gifted. It would mean a lot to me if we were able to establish a relationship and possibly setup regular sessions or so once I'm in the area. I was there a couple of years ago after spending the New Year in Times Square (which was awesome, but way too cold and overrated for my taste. Although I did get to enjoy cuisine and drinks in a restaurant that is featured on How I Met Your Mother{?}. Mostly out of necessity because it was freezing and we had time to waste until the ball dropped, my spouse had never been to the ball drop. Neither had I but I live/visit with family there very often and view it as a tourist attraction. Much like those in central & south Florida view Disney. I digress.) it was for a couple of days and other encounters were the top priority for the time then. Now with me moving and laying roots down, I'm hoping to grab some botanical history.
If this is posted in the wrong place I do apologize. I skimmed over the front page of topics to find the appropriate place and may have overlooked it. Mods, I don't mean to make you work if that is the case.
