FISA Abuse troll is a scam.

Trump’s Justice Department made clear they are not accepting the watchdog report as the last word. Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is conducting a criminal investigation into the origins of the Russia probe, both rejected the inspector general’s finding that there was sufficient evidence to open the investigation.

Barr's investigation is based solely on the denial of facts that are well documented and indisputable.

I am interested in who slipped what into the FBI files that worked with the Trump campaign that caused all this blacking out in this section. It wasn't acted on by the FBI, but was maintained in the file.

Also the Executive Summary ends with recommendations, which all seem very smart adjustments to make in the future when dealing with a corrupt politician running for President of the United States of America who is surrounding himself with foreign puppets.

That is the problem, it was always going to be, the next will be too, and the next, until someone actually does something wrong one way or the other, and even then it won't really matter.

Because the Russians are just using a unending chain of events, that is the daily news, to troll whatever pops up. As long as they can lie and say anything they want about it, they will use all available stories to create a narrative that suits their screwing with our democracy.

Unfortunately with Putin's top troll (Trump) having the power of our Presidency, everything Trump says is inescapably news.

Trump is already onto the next troll, I mean report, after claiming victory on this one that shows there was a very good set of reasons (what is a 'quantum of evidence'? It sounds like a lot to me) to investigate Trump for getting the help of the Russian military to win the American Presidency.

So Daddy's favorite has had a relationship with Christopher Steele, who was working with the same company that was doing opposition research for Ted Cruz, who one week after the DNC hack which stole their research on Ted Cruz, dropped out of the race, leaving Trump to be the Republican nominee.

Fusion GPS (who had hired Steele) then go to Hillary Clinton's campaign and Steele goes to the FBI and then leaks his reporting to the news when the FBI doesn't go public with it (since they found known planted errors in his documents).

All roads that lead to a Trump, lead to Putin and vise versa with this Con artist family.

Barr is going off hard right now about this FISA stuff. Everything he is saying is leading up to his emphasis of investigating a 'Presidential' campaign, like somehow you need to ignore everything because the President is asking from help from a foreign government that is known to be attacking our election.

It is crazy, I feel like I'm watching modern day Nazi party on the rise.

Link to the video, Barr is selling the propaganda hard to save Trump. He even pulls out "Fox News was reporting"... But Hillary...

He just said something about they 'jumped right into investigating Trump's campaign' after Popadapolous was caught bragging about the Russians having dirt on Clinton's emails. But, that is ignoring that there was already a Russian investigation going on and Trump had publicly said:

lol No cause to investigate when you have full evidence of everything Russia is doing and Trump has hired all kinds of Russian puppets around him.

Impressive cult logic by Bill Barr.

Its more Republican propaganda than Russian though.

Fox News and the right wing radio echo chamber was playing this same game more than 20 years ago. Russia stepped it up and amplified the noise in social media but it's always been the Republican ploy to win by dishonest means because they can't win if they tell the truth.

Paragraph 2, first sentence contains all anybody really needs to know to confirm the department followed the law.

"We conclude the investigative activities ... complied with applicable Department (Of Justice) and FBI policies"

Any criticism in this report pertains to how the investigation was handled and are addressed using gratuitous words about being more sensitive to the situation. Appropriate training, blah, blah. It's just window dressing. The law was followed, Trump's complaint is that of a criminal's. "I'm angry that anybody investigated me for the crime I committed".

Exactly why Barr had to pull another rabbit out of his ass.

It doesn't look like Barr's copycat investigation headed by John Durham is going to find any more information than Horowitz found. Durham has a decent reputation in the DOJ, according to sources quoted and named in this article:

Meet John Durham, The Man Tasked With 'Investigating the Investigators'

Durham’s own reputation for thorough, nonpartisan work has remained intact over decades as a federal prosecutor targeting corruption. And people who know him expect him to handle this investigation honestly, despite the heated political environment.

The Time article claims that the person most at risk from the Durham investigation is Durham. If he is as honest as is said about him, Trump and Barr will smear him after he fails to produce the result they want from him.

But Durham's investigation is still ongoing. What he recently said:

“Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S.,” Durham said in a statement. “Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

This is the bit Barr has decided to use to Trump's political advantage. As the resident Trump tout, @Bugeye demonstrates almost daily on this forum, as long as an investigation is underway, Trump and his stooges can say anything they want and make any claims they want. As when Horowitz closed his investigation with a finding of nothing illegal occurred, they turn on the messenger, diminish them and then pivot to the next investigation as if nothing factual was found in the review of those 1 million documents, hundreds of interviews and millions of dollars spent.

Agree that the Trumper's hysterical repetition of conspiracy theories is crazy. What is not crazy is Trump and Barr's tactics, which are gradually having the effect they want. Their objective is summed up in a quote from a Republican Congressman in the WaPo article:

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), a strong Trump ally, meanwhile, said, “This is not a good day for the FBI.”
“There’s more than enough evidence in this report that would suggest a major overhaul in terms of policies and procedures,” he said.

Trump wants to overhaul the FBI and make it the tool of the president. It's crazy for us to want this but its not crazy for Trump.

How many of the 17 errors made by FBI and identified by Horowitz worked in Trump's favor? Someone was cooking alright.
Your question is a classic tactic of smearing an honest reporting of the facts by seeding doubt without actually making a claim. So, let's just stick to the facts. Horowitz found nothing done during investigations into Trump's campaign's relationship with Russian agents that went outside of FBI and DOJ policies. Now that Horowitz is done and said quite clearly "no evidence found", you hyenas are using Durham's active investigation as cover for making the same tired old lies about deep state interference.

What Horowitz found in an investigation where a million documents were reviewed, hundreds of people were interviewed and millions of dollars spent was that procedures need to be tightened and special attention given to training investigators when working on sensitive cases.

That's about it, buggy.

Now, then, how about that Durham investigation? It's ongoing and results aren't documented yet so you can make up whatever you want about it. Isn't that a coincidence?

Your post from an untrustworthy and strongly biased media site only proves how desperate you are to avoid the facts. The facts are that Horowitz found the FBI and DOJ acted according to established policies and procedures.
