This is the final report on the Tangerine Dream Auto weight was 77 grams. And yes I could have trimmed it up a little better but I’ve been busy and run a landscaping business plus I’m the only who technically will be consuming it. She also went through serious trauma in beginning so she absolutely would have produced more. I finished my ghetto grow room rm lmao meaning quickly put panda film up with insulated sheets behind it. Screwed into 2x4’s making it 7x7x7 I have my 600w air cooled mh/hps in there as well. Seeds germinated already and planted into 1 gal pots. Strains are 1 Green Gelato 1 Gorilla Cookies 1 Wedding Cake 1 White Widow and 2 autos in 3 gal fabric pots 1 Northern Light 1 Critical Orange Punch. I also have Dresden Green Diamond seeds I will start soon inside but will be transplanted into my Gorilla Grow outdoors. I will keep posting on all of it Cheers my friends⛽

Very nice! I'd be very happy with that. I have to get calmag today. My poor girl is showing some signs of deficiency. And I was told ro water doesn't suffice. So I'll picking that up today after work and giving her some love. I'll post pics of what I'm seeing later. Its only on a few leaves not all. But your setup sounds great. I'm looking forward to your future endeavors.

Yea Cal mag is a critical nutrient for the plant I always buy 2 of everything so I have one on deck at all times. But it’s good you recognized the plant needed something. The more you grow the better you get but letting the plants tell you what they need is hudge imo so your doing awesome my friend look forward to the grow you got this

Had a busy Friday and Saturday but good morning anyways. Here's my update on Day 41. Had some temp issues with too much heat. Some leaf tip issues due to heat but she's pulled through and looking great otherwise.
Looking nice. Soon, she will be full and gorgeous. I am also doing my first grow. It is on the Phlizon thread, another "cheap LED " grow lol. I am doing a scrog with coco coir as my medium... I am growing Glueberry, Pink Kush and Royal Gorilla. First 3 come down at the end of the first week of march... then I am growing 4-5 autos... Cookies, Blue Amnesia and Critical Cheese

Warning: I did not turn my grow light off for the pics this morning. For the people that get bugged by the purplish lighting.

Day 47: I have really slacked off with the nutrients. Yesterday she got her second dose of nutes including calmag. She started showing signs of deficiency really strong this past week and I didn't have the opportunities to go get her better food until yesterday. This is what she looks like as of 10 minutes ago. I included a pic of what some of the leaves look like. It wasn't bugs and I didn't spill any water or nutes on said leaves. Pure internal signs of an issue. Have a good Saturday everyone ❤

Been a while since I've seen your thread.
Looking good!
Are you hooked on growing yet??? :)
Thank you! And 100% hooked on growing. I haven't smoked really since I started this journey of growing. I want to wait to enjoy my own buds for the first time. I have really been appreciative of the whole process. It's something else I can look forward too in my life, almost a Zen experience this has given me. What's life without having any responsibility? I like that people can depend on me to always be there to help and now this plant too. Random thoughts.

Don't confuse the idea of a "cheap light" with a "shitty light". MANY good lights can be purchased or built on the low low!

I just bought 12 x High Bay 400w Mercury Halide lights (listed as "old warehouse lights" on marketplace) for $5 a light! A little hoodrat engineering and you got a classic lamp that, though dated, can still produce excellent buds.

(Ballast just there for pic. Relocated outside of tent for use)

I traded an old sawzall for that reflector, so for $5 for the ballast and $15 for a low end Amazon MH\HPS conversion bulb my overflow tent is shaping up.

Now... If I can just find a home for all these damn shields!

Depends on what bulb is being used... I certainly wouldn't recommend just using a basic MV bulb that would be used in a gym or parking lot. I completely agree if that's the case. However there are now lots of bulbs that are made that will do ok.

Personally, I'm using a 1000w Agrosun Gold to flower. These smaller ballasts are meant to suppliments my veg tent.

I know where you're coming from.
A little peace of zen @ home goes a long way.
Will be watching :)

One tip when using lower watt LEDs is to remove the lowest bud sites and lollipop the plant. The reason for this is the light has a difficult time penetrating deep into the canopy. This will force the plant to focus its energy on the tops that are receiving light and you'll have a higher quality denser flower.

If you leave the lowers they'll end up pulling energy away from the tops and since they aren't receiving enough light they'll end up very airy. This is advice for your next grow and you'll want to lollipop a week before flowering and again a few days into flower.

Your plants look healthy keep it up.

Thank you For the advice! Definitely something I will do For the next grow. I've looked at that method but I'm such a newbie to this just focusing on getting to the end :) I'm doing one of the seeds I paid for next grow. Which is a Critical Purple Auto that my wife picked out.

Soooooo. I fucked up people. I fed her nutes on Friday. Dry nutes. The directions read (or so I thought) sprinkle 1 tablespoon per 3" of the pot diameter. The pot is about 10" so I did 2 servings thinking less at first would be better. Buttttt here's the fun part. Ready? I was over eager and misread the directionsssssss. Its TEASPOONSSSSS. Not table spoons. That was Friday night. This morning I look at her and the newest growth on top have yellowing tips starting to come through almost over night. Should I go and buy gallons of the same r/o water I've been using and flush her out? Should I sit back and let her work her way through it because these plants are so resilient? Should I cry and maybe slap myself? Disregard that last question. :) sorry for the long read. If you have personal experience with this dilemma I am in, please share. Other than all of that. Have an awesome Sunday everyone.

When I say 2 servings I mean 2 tablespoons. They also were not giant scoops either. I also only sprinkled it around the edge and did not work it into the dirt too much. I'm thinking I could scrape up the dirt/nutes that are on the top outer edge and then gradually flush her with fresh water and let her recover for a few days?

I took it out into more natural light to get a better look. And maybe it was my 5 oclock in the morning eyes playing tricks on me. She doesn't look as bad as I thought. I think the purple light amplifies the discoloration. :(

...and hides other attributes of the plant, which is why the first thing people say is "please take pictures with the grow light off". Same thing happens with HPS, but generally to a bit of a lesser degree than LED (especially blurples).
