I cant have a big plant. Im semi-limited on room, and if I grow bigger I will definitely have to transplant, and I got nothn bigger at the moment.

what are you talking about 10 grams? total from the sprouts and main? or just the main. or what?

Yeah keep it until you can clearly see two more nodes, then you can flower w/no pb, as for heigt, u can allways tie her down if she gets too tall, dont worry too much about it

I know he's meaning yield. but yield per plant? yield from all plants? yeild from each sprout? yield from the main grow?

but if I grow any bigger I will have to get a hole new box and rebuild something so I can fit a huge pot in it, which a bigger bix isnt going to fit in the closet, theres too much crap in it, I already cleaned it to make as much space as possible, and the grow setup is already very crowded.

I am not concerned about getting a huge yeild from my first grow with such a ghetto setup. I just want something so I can cure it and see how it is compared to what I buy. this isnt going to be my last grow, my next one will be better :)

Well today I decided to make some co2. i found yeast finally at the store $2.50 for 3 pouches of dry active yeast. I filled a 20oz pop bottle half way with warm water, pourer some sugar in it and then 2 packs of the yeast.

At first nothing. So I left it in the grow room. I check back about 5 hours later, and the thing had over fizzed and made a mess -_-, luckily only on the bottle and the box. Some of the leafs had started to droop through. I check back later and another paralell sets of leafs drooped.

I looked at the bottom of the bucket and the roots had grown all the way across the bottom of it. I decided to do a spontanious tranplant. I found an industrial size detergent bucket divided it in half with cardboard and transplanted. I ran out of soil though, so there was some serious mounding. I think it went alright though, I just have to get more soil in the next few days. It will probably not be the same kind of soil though :(.

the bottom leafs had already been turning yellow. So I figure the plant has been constrained for awhile, and older leafs were slowly dieing, and adding the co2 just sped up root growth/ pain of being constrained.

the new bucket is the same width but its longer on the sides and about 6" deeper. It doesnt fit in the grow box so I will have to make some changed sometime soon so that I can hang real lights over it.

Your flowering that thing? Why? How tall is it? This is my first time growing as-well but how much do you think you will get out of that? Keep us updated because if you actually get decent bud out of that, I might try flowering after a month as-well :) I'm constrained on space so it looks like a good idea.. that is if it works :)

Nice growin BH, but be careful in that Miracle Gro, it makes the plants grow pretty fast and it holds a lot of water...Ur plant looks a lil over watered IMO, with miracle gro you could probably get away with watering once every 10 days.

you flowered around the right time, I flowered at day 21 and everythings fine.
Words of advice from experience:

with CFLs the light penetration is pretty poor and its not very strong, especially when you have a thick canopy. Make sure U keep those CFLs about 3-4" away during flowering bcuz I saw almost an inch per night for the first 3 weeks, they went from 10" when I started flowering to now 24" and I couldnt keep up with it so I got burned a couple times.

if you top or LST it now each branch will be a cola, if not you will only get popcorn buds and small budsites on each branch. its best to do it before the branches and stems get too stiff, otherwise you might break or bend them.

But nice growin, thats just my 2cents hope it helps

I have the next picture Ill upload it later

anyways thanks for the replys.

Spittn, maybe your right, the plants drooping and thats a sign of over watering. the top few inches are usually bone dry when I water though.

so far theres 4 of the first leafs yellowing and drooping [2 of them, the very first leafs are pretty much dead], and theres 2 more branches drooping [parallel sets of 5 leafs].

I decided to flower this early because of space limitations. Its been 3 days and no major changes. the top of the plant seems to be growing all sorts of things, but thats happend ever since I added the 2 lights.

I also moved the co2 away from the fan so its not on the plant, it started drooping as soon as I added the co2, 8 hours later; droopage.

at this time I am worried the plants going to die, but I will skip a few days watering and see if it improves.

but I did originally want to lst, and I do want colas, but first I gotta get more soil to finish filling the buckets, and the stem is already gettn decently strong.

It's very pretty. It looks a lot healthier then mine (I am 90% sure mine will die after transplanted it so I will probably start over). Good luck with that, and keep us updated, I want to know when the first buds appear :) VERY good journal, props to you.

thanks.

but transplanting shouldnt kill the plant; the first time I transplanted this, I ripped off like half the roots, and there were no problems.
