Haha I post and when I'm done, you've posted lol. But it's kinda the same stuff were sayin here.

But think...In using organic ferts...
They don't do shit until the microbes have converted them. Then and only then can they be accessed by the root system.
Chemical ferts on the other hand, work regardless.

I wasn't speaking about flushing, as I don't do it lol.
Just the fact that it's natural for leaves to yellow in the end rather than stay green all the way thru.

Ps. A few of the links are broken bro.
Are you just using them to site your info?

if there is nutrients in the soil the plant will use them, on a indoor garden you could keep your plant green forever if you keep feeding N. indoor plant yellow because they are using up the last of the nutrients. If there were still available nutrients in the soil the plant will use them to try and stay alive, if there were still nutrients in your soil you would taste it in your weed. Outdoor is a totally different thing IMO

That's just now right Shawns...

-if there is nutrients in the soil the plant will use them
False
-
on a indoor garden you could keep your plant green forever if you keep feeding NTrue but only if you feed your plants chemical Nitrogen. Doing so doesn't help you plants hardiness ANY.
Go look outside in the fall and see what you see from annual flowering plants.

-
indoor plant yellow because they are using up the last of the nutrients.
False, they yellow bcuz it's what they do. I'm sure subcool supersoil doesn't go barren in nutritional content, as much as he adds to it.
Not in one grow cycle

If there were still available nutrients in the soil the plant will use them to try and stay alive,
False, the plants pick and choose what nutes the get from the soil.
if there were still nutrients in your soil you would taste it in your weed

Chemical wise yeah. Organic wise, no. Chemical nutes aren't immobilized. Organic nutes are.

This is my last post regarding all this tho lol. Hit the books and try again bro. I could go on and on and on, but this doesn't need all that.

so what your saying is that you cant feed a organic plant too much nutrients idk but I'm not here to argue with anyone so I'll just drop out now

You can over do anything bro. You can put too much of any one thing in your organic soil mix(except humus) and poison the ecosystem yeah.
In organics, you NEVER feel the plant directly. You feel the soil which feeds the plant.

I've been working on making my own ferts via AACT, but that's gonna take another 3 grows or trial an error before I get it right prob. But I've been getting better with time bro.
And I don't mean to run you off or be argumentaive to the point you wanna drop out, just trying to help you understand what I do bro.
Sorry If you feel like I'm coming at you or trying to belittle you or something bcuz im not about that.

But I'm not saying you can't feed an organic plant too much, as too much of anything in concentration isn't good.
I apologize if I came off to you as shell bro.
Ppl think I'm a know-it-all lol but I'm not YET. I will be tho in a few years tho lol.

Peace and Love boss :peace:

Just a clarification on sub's super soil recipe... it is designed to run out of nutes at the end and fade... you're supposed to adjust the amount of super soil used as you get a feel for your plant so that it fades at the end. Sub's N & P sources are almost all fast breakdown/absorption sources of N & P it's designed to pump it all into the plant and run out at the end... you definitely can put too much supersoil in so that it stays green too long or not enough so it runs out too early. Getting it right is the trick :) What I have running this run has the peruvian seabird pellets in it and a couple of other amendments that may break down slowly... next run i'm gonna do some comparisons between sub's straight up super soil formula and the same ratio formula but with a little more longer lasting sources mixed in and a couple of extra ingredients that aren't in the original.

I gotta get some of these plants out of flower though for sure I need to start transplanting veg plants and there's no more light to put them under upstairs and no space for bigger pots either... building new cab not an option til this weekend, but pretty much has to get done then as I need to make sure it's moved upstairs before weekend after this.

I'm enjoying this debate :)

Oh and I've been sampling dried lower buds all the way since week 4 on those super green plants... there is no N taste in the buds. They are very smooth, smoother than the outdoor commercial I get and that's fresh dried, not even cured. Unfortunately nothing's made it to cured more than a few days ;)

Lots of caffeine and the very rare nap :) I'm hoping after this month I won't have to work QUITE so hard... right now it's so much the baby plants aren't getting as much attention as they should be... once I get them all in the same cab next week that'll change :) Next grow is fewer, bigger plants in one 12/12 session :) That's gonna make things soooo much easier. No moving. Watering now... pics coming

You want some cuts of the Flav give me a shout I'll have 51 soon if all 22 clones root that I just put in the dome. I have 29 clones getting ready to flip this weekend to 12/12.

I don't know what you're talking about we'd never discuss something not allowed like trading clones in my thread. We're good little RIU users who never break the rules. Is this a prank caller? I don't know who this is! 911!

Welcome back friends.

Someone rang my doorbell earlier. It's amazing how fast I can move carrying an 8 gallon pot when I need to. Just someone going door to door apparently. I gotta get my grow room moved.

Chocolate Chunkey Monkey buds -- mostly they seem to have a little purple in'em when you look close..

Hey illtoxic looky what I got waiting for you... this is just one of two plates... oh wait this is for me I wouldn't discuss letting you make oil with this -- there's a good amount of sugar trim in there you just can't see it... i also put a bunch of little mini buds that regenerated on there after taking this pic :)
trim.jpg

The plant below is looking done to me (other than not yellowing)... that means I should wait a week :) The top few inches of the 2 or 3 tallest colas still have not quite finished off and have some white hairs, but all the lowers are done (no white hairs and barely visible due to having recessed)... I expect a week from now they will have finished up based on past experience... once the rest of the plant is that finished the top finishes pretty quick. I don't think the buds are going to swell up much more but we'll see... the bigger colas are almost to the size of my forearm so I'll take it ;) I checked several mature plants no ambers yet so hopefully a week from now I'm gonna have to let'em go a little longer if not... I wanna see some ambers before I take'm, so may have to wait longer than a week on this one... even the quickly fading penis pheno has no ambers yet... bummer.

This is the runty ChernoJill... the best thing about her is she stretched so little those colas are stacked... I've avoided trimming her but I went ahead and trimmed up all the lower stuff onto that plate pictured above... she smells REAL good too

Damn Reef your killing it in the fields over there! The Killing Fields! lol

I have been stuck in a oil induced haze the past week. Cannot even remember shit from this past week lol. You will definitely enjoy the oil Reef! I can definitely see trichromes over those leaves and buds...Will definitely make some wonderful absolute(shatter).

And that stacked donkey dick! Good lordy!

Wish you the best these last few weeks!

Heya Reef. Have you dropped your temps down to like 65 at night? I am sure that CCM will reallllly purple up if you haven't already.
Also your PM box is full whenever you got a moment I'd like to send you one...Or you can just call/txt reason is I lost all numbers when I rooted phone because it had bricked on me so I had to unbrick/reroot.

Well bad news... landlord texted me today that sometime in the next 30 days she has to come out with an appraiser because she's going to get the house refinanced... on the bright side, if she was gonna do it, at the end of harvest is a good time I guess... and I've just had the feeling she's going to want to come check things out soon so this'll let me get it out of the way I guess... doesn't sound like it's gonna be in the next few days or even the next week (she said she would call me in advance to schedule a good time), but for all I know it could be as soon as a week from now... and it's gonna take me time to get everything cleaned up for inspection... so all the flower girls are going to get pulled this weekend except maybe 2 or 3 of the smaller ones that need more time to mature... so the plan is basically get everything cleaned up/put up and hidden away EXCEPT 2 or 3 lights with the veg plants & 2 or 3 flower plants not done... i'll leave those in one or two closets upstairs, then when I know when she's coming I'll either see if someone will watch them for a day or I'll box them up and put the boxes in my car for the day while the inspection's going on... it means I won't be able to up pot them to bigger pots, which I was planning to do starting next week... they'll have to stay in their current homes until inspection is done (up to a month from now... sure it won't be that long though... maybe a couple weeks)... so start of next flower will probably be delayed by a couple of weeks.... shouldn't MAJORLY affect things... and then once inspection is done, I'll go full force on putting the new grow room together.

There's a couple things I've been avoiding talking to her about since I don't want her coming by... but since everything's gonna be taken down, and the f'ing biatch is raising my rent... definitely gonna take care of those now... for example she better get the a/c maintained... and i'm gonna talk to her about running electric to the shed and putting in an RO machine under the kitchen sink...

illtoxic i cleared some PM space... as far as night temps, they've gotten down into the upper 60s several times because of the a/c running nonstop sometimes at night... but i haven't been doing that lately since i've shut off co2 and opened the room up to regular air. I pretty much do not have to set the a/c any lower than it takes to keep the house comfortable to keep it ideal temps in that grow room...

Have pulled down a few more small branches/buds over the last few days... i'm thinking my yields won't be as good as expected... i think i'll still end up getting 2z/plant avg... but 3z/plant is looking a lot less likely since i'm gonna have to pull a lot of stuff earlier than I want to. Hopefully everything fully ripens in the next few days :)
