What up rollitup. Harvest time! Well acctually I harvested my ppp plant Yesterday. It was a little earlier than i wanted but her trics where about 40%amber 60%cloudy and i didn't want it to turn too much. But I got 158 wetg gram off of her Which will probaly dry down to 1 1/2oz. The small popcorn buds which will be used towards some Green Dragon

. But seriously thanks for the help & info. I started flushing a few weeks before i harvested her so the smoke should be good. Next grow is going to be a lot nicer.

Uve done a decent job so far, and you got some bud this round too so thats incredible! nice job. but I gotta say a few things.
miracle gro is great to grow in, but next time try to find some perlite to mix with it. they sell it at walmart for $5 a bag, and it'll help make sure U dont over-water ur plants.
and also MG has the time-release oscomote balls which release after about 30 waterings. so U could be down to the last 3 weeks of flowering when the Miracle gro nutes finally decide to release themselves. so its ALWAYS neccessary to flush when ur using miracle gro potting mix.
oh and U gotta pay attention to ur plants.
the red/purple stems, brown leaf tips, brown spots, and droopy leaves mean U have a deficiency - mainly potassium and phosphorous which are responsible for strong stems and big bud production.
each one of those deficiencies cost you a lot of potential bud. so thats one reason u didnt reach ur 3oz goal. that and the lighting which u've already corrected.
I understand what u were tying to do with the organic bat shit and fish guts, but real talk, lets not half step.
It would be best to get a one part veg formula, a one part bloom formula, and one part micro nute formula. its very hard to underfeed since cannabis is a plant that can thrive off of very little nutrients!
I stick to feeding my plants 1/4 strength nutrients thru-out the entire grow. I feed them nutes once per week during veg, and maybe twice per week in flowering and I feed the plants plain tap water between each feeding.
if I start seeing signs of deficiencies, Id wait a day or 2 after the first feeding, then feed them another 1/4 strength feeding, and if they need more, Id wait another 2 days and give them another 1/4 strength feeding etc...
that way its really hard to overfeed, but in case I do its extremely easy to flush.
speaking of flushing..when I stick to ^^that feeding schedule^^,
flushing isnt neccessary no matter if Im using chemical nutes or organic nutes. during the last 2 weeks of flowering my plants are only fed a couple drops of molasses, and a Ripening formula in tap water. all nutes are cut off so there is no need to flush before flowering.
like I said Cannabis can thrive off of very little nutes and attention! thats why most of the time its the one U neglect that always does better than all of the rest! but when U do pay attention to ur plants, pay attention to every detail, from the browning leaf tips to the yellowing leaves at the bottom.

What my peps. Well this grow is officialy over. My PPP plant yeilded 1.5 ounces dried. She finished flowering in 70 days, her trics were 40% amber 60% cloudy, her finishing height was 1ft 9in. The buds are fluffy and sticky and the smoke is smooth. The high is a great up high, I get very little of that couchlock feeling. The buds are currently curing. The trimings and small buds where used for a marijuana tincture aka green dragon. Shit is potent one dropper full and you will be gone for hours! I made about 20 doses out of 14 grams of trim and small buds.
My bag seed plant FrtyX, grown 12/12 from seedling, yeilded 1/2 ounce of bud. Trics were 10% amber 90% Cloudy, finished at 56 days, finishing height was 1ft. The Buds where nice and compact not fluffy. I haven't smoked her yet so no smoke report.

good question bruh..
they'll start smelling after ab 5 days of drying. youll taste a difference as soon as 3 days of proper curing.

Thanks man. Its werid though cause my ppp buds still have that grassy smell and taste and have been curing for about 2 weeks but the Fruity X buds have only been curing for 2 days and taste and smell great... I guess its just something to do with the diffrent types of strains or something

Is there any way to fix that? It smelled so good while it was growing. I can still smell that piney smell when i break it up but when its a whole bud or smoked it smells like wet grass?? So I figured either it has to cure longer or i fucked something up like you said.nope, usually due to improper drying and/or curing.

is it sticky-icky?
if its sticky then its not completely dry yet. in that case let it dry for a few more days, and then it should be ready for curing. when U smoke wet bud it will smell and taste like grass, and it may even be harsh on the throat. it may not even get U that high..keep in mind that there is a difference in "the bud being dry enough to smoke" and "ready for cure"
if it smells like hay or straw then that goes back to manicuring and drying, U may have went over board with the trimming. the bud-leaves are there to protect the calaxyes, U dont want the calaxyes to dry up too much before U cure otherwise the buds will be "too stale" (like a stale piece of bread) and curing will be useless. leaveing more leafy material around the bud slows down the drying process and keeps a lil moisture stored in the leaves, curing will re-distribute that moisture.
if U leave more "leafy material" on the buds that will strongly influence the taste and smell during cure, as well as the final yield.
thats just been my experince with growing. i dont have a full idea of what ur workin with so its hard to say...
my advice would be to not worry about the bud thats already curing, theres really not much U can do to correct that. next time tho, remember to remember to leave more leaves around the buds at manicuring, and if Ur growing PPP again dont let it dry so long bcuz PPP is a fluffy sativa and doesnt take very long to dry(5 days)
