Can't say, don't know for sure!

for well over a year i have been BEGGING for help here with the modding. i never got any backup from anyone. after struggles and figths and threats and attacks i went to the site owner over a month ago and resigned. he said he felt bad losing me, which triggered guilt on my part, so i stayed.

we have been talking about and working on getting a glass forum going for 2 years now. this is my glass site created by the owner of rollitup ====> http://fadedglassworks.com/ he is trying to help me get my glass sales moving. he has never asked for anything from me in return. he wants to set up an auction type area for glass sales. he understands as well as i do that i could be spending my time on better things then worrying about veterans calling new growers "ignorant retards". in agreed.

it did come as a surprise when it actually went down because i was offline when it happened. i made a few posts before it all sunk in. when i logged on after my nap i went to the site owner and we talked about it and all was cool. no drama, no "you're fired", we simply discussed the glass area. i am RELIEVED that i have been relieved. when people attack me now it is because of THEIR issue, i'm no longer a mod. :)

all i ever wanted was what i felt was best for the site. once again i apologize to all those i "hurt". i hope the internet can now go back to the way it was 4 years ago.

honestly I wouldn't have came back if the other sites weren't so dead and hollow by comparison... I mean speedy seedz and riddlem3 were more depressing than I was frustrated on RIU...

I know as a person what I can handle and RIU is easy peasy compared to trying to live with a forum that's either dead or full of people who hate you (speedy seedz.)

some of that shit that happened was fucked up tho, woulda been better off had it not happened.. but I"m glad we're where we're at now.
Each has its own qualities and issues. For example, I made a very simple and innocent request numerous times for the sake of improving the integrity of my Topping thread and never had so much as a SOL response. That is to be able to edit one's own thread. I'm going to link you to a perfect example, my revised topping thread in which I included a FAQ which pretty much reduces hundreds of pages down to a few and clears up all questions a member might have. Again, a simple (and innocent) enhancement that has been denied here. Notice how the quality of the revised thread compares with the one here (now locked). http://riddlem3.com/index.php/topic,1106.0.html

Best,
UB

can't even open that link as I'm not a member... but anyways... the social community of this site is much better than pretty much any stoner site, that's why I'm here, at the point I'm at I don't really need to be consulting guides and shit, while I will see the occasional new thing that does get me into some sorta new technique or method, things like how to top right, clone right, etc. basic methods that don't matter I could care less about how well they're displayed to the public... if you get that from another site good for you...

OK, in addition to adding a few new photos, here's the FAQ, jest for your reading pleasure. :)
=========================================================
FAQ

Q - Is your technique effective with a clone?

A - Only if the cutting (clone) has opposing nodes. Don't expect to get 2 or 4 main colas if the nodes are alternating. You're manipulating the plant's hormonal processes aka "apical dominance". The plant will redistribute the auxins equally to dormant foliar buds.

************************************

Q - Will this work on a landrace, indica OR sativa, and what about hybrids?

A - The hormonal processes, redistribution of auxins, work the same whether you have a sativa, afghan (indica) or your typical mutt.

************************************

Q - Can I cut above the 3rd or 4th node?

A - You can, but you won't get the same effect regarding bulked up main colas. I came up with this simple technique in order to increase main cola production from 1..... to 2 or 4. If you want alot of bud sites and a bushier plant, then top at say.....the 8th node, but, that's not my technique as described.

************************************

Q - I don't want to stress my plants. How long will this set my plants back?

A - There is no stress involved like underwatering a plant or giving it too much heat or light. They will respond with new output where the leaf petiole attaches to the "trunk" within 24 hours. If not, you have a cultural issue that you need to address.

************************************

Q - You say to wait until the plant has 5-6 nodes before topping. Why?

A - That is only a guide to insure you have an established, well growing plant with a good root system. 3 nodes or 8, it's your call.

************************************

Q - Can I root the cutting?

A - Of course.

************************************

Q - What's a node??
A - Get outta here!

I'm guessing ol' ben here doesn't have any outlets to get rid of such stress.... he should go fishing or boating ;)
