Get some plastic self-adhesive labels printed up to cover Bud lite cans and call it Fuck Biden or something anti woke then sell them online for triple the price or more and unless you unclick the tiny check boxes with the tiny text at the bottom of the screen, we will send you lots of beer every week and take it directly out of your bank account.

I smell an opportunity for TRUMP beer, with those distinctive TRUMP gold letters and a picture of the great white chief on the can, which would be orange. MAGA beer!

One more turn of the fascist screw. Montana's Senate delegation has one Republican and one Democrat. They dominate just about everywhere they gerrymander but you they lost a statewide election for Senator. When given a choice, Republicans sometimes place a protest vote. They didn't like the candidate the GOP put up against the Democratic Party's Senatorial candiate and voted third party. Sooo, of course, they want to take away that choice.

Montana GOP seeks to bar 3rd parties from key US Senate race

Libertarians lined up with Democrats on Friday against a proposal that would effectively block third party candidates from next year’s Montana U.S. Senate election, as Republicans try to consolidate opposition to incumbent Jon Tester in a race pivotal for control of the Senate.

Republicans who control the state Legislature want to alter the 2024 Senate primary in Montana so that only the top two candidates, no matter their party, advance to the November election. Past races for Tester’s seat were close enough that many Republicans blamed third party candidates for draining away potential GOP votes and giving the Democrat the victory.

Critics blasted the proposal during a Montana House committee meeting as a blatant attempt to rig the election.

“It will completely block us out,” said Montana Libertarian Party Chairman Sid Daoud. “It’s going to eliminate any third party or independent candidate from moving to the general election.”

Republicans can't even depend on their own base to vote for them if given a choice. So they take choice away.

Can't do it constitutionally, if you can vote you can run for office, if age qualifications are met. Next, they will try to keep Trump off the ballot when he runs from his cell as a bull moose! Political parties and primaries are not mentioned in the US constitution, and it is for a federal office.

Donald sitting in a cell will do anything to get out, he has nothing to lose. His problem might be money however, he might not have much left by then, but if he has the cash he will run. Maybe when Kevin and Lindsey visit him, they will try to talk him out of it, tell him he will get a federal pardon if the republican who beat him in the primary wins. If he runs from his cell, he will sink the GOP presidential nominee out of spite alone, his only leverage is political now. Besides, MTG would make a fine VP pick for him and can stump for him while he's doing time.

By the time trump is incarcerated, he will have NOTHING left that anyone will bargain for...They will have stripped his carcass clean of anything useful, and the left over pile of hair and shit will have zero value...

Isn't it for Sen Tester's federal senate seat?
hmm, guess it is, but the state still has control of how primaries run, and if they can't run in the primary, the only option they have is to run as a write in candidate...which isn't impossible, but is MUCH more of a pain in the ass, and carries a stigma with it...

Sounds like a court case to me, the constitution does not mention a primary or primary process that is in any way endorsed or governed by a state government. The basic principle that any person who qualifies should be able to run in an election are violated, independents exist and are the largest voting bloc. Political parties are not mentioned in the founding documents, and nobody saw fit to put them in the amendments, the US constitution takes precedent over state constitutions in such matters as the bill of rights.

ANYTHING not specifically mentioned in the constitution is assumed to be under control of the individual states...
a view i have LONG disliked. We're all part of the same nation, Not separate nations like the EU...There SHOULD be strong federal oversight into the states activities, like gerrymandering, and loading state courts with partisan judges, and allowing judge shopping....
