Hahaha no secrets, it's all about that sweet spot and the container size. The small container and starting height is how I get them like that, every strain has a starting height which it will grow into a single spike aka the "budsicle". Each strain is different like my PK is the hardest and I still haven't got it dialed in to pull off the spike like my other strains.But yea every strain is different but usually no taller than 8", my Goo it's 4" the Maui Wowi x Tooty Fruity is 2-4" ect...

Sure doesn't buddy just take your strain and take 6-8 clones all different heights starting at 2"-8" and you should find the height that makes your strain grow into in single spike I can say sativas and sativa dominant hybrids are 2"-4" and Indicas are 6"-10" hope that makes more sense to you guys Merry X Mas!

i will 2nd this techquine because i found this out by accident, in my last grow i had a 600hps and i let my clones get to a foot before flower. i used solo cups for a sog, and i always ended up with a couple clones that just wouldnt grow as tall as the others, and i would toss them as i could only put 1 tray in at a time, so i thru a couple small ones in one time and it did excatly this "budsicle" were the others had a couple branchs so i noted it and moved on and just recently in my current grow, i put a clone into flower at 3in and it looks better than the others i put in at 10in in terms of a single cola. so now that i see your doing this its gotta be legit and not a mistake on my part.

Lets get into what I'm growing and what I use, so right now the strains I have flowering are Grand Daddy Purple or Purple Urkel still not too sure I'll know when I let it go for 10 weeks. I also have the SR71-Purple Kush which was voted one of the top 10 most potent strains in the world. For soil and nutes I had been using some cheap shitty soil from a local hardware store with the DrBud mix of Shultz 10-15-10, Superthrive, and Fish Emulsion which works good but I found a Emigh/Ace Hardware that sells Fox Farm & Happy Frog products and they also have the Black Gold brand of soils, castings and guano so I decided to go with some Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil with Grow Big and Tiger Bloom but since the FFOF is so damn strong out of the bag I cut it with Kellogg Patio Plus which is similar and when used at 50% KPP and 50% FFOF I have the perfect mix which doest burn my gals using the FF nutes at 1/2 strength and I can see the diff already compared to the cheap shit. I want to go all organic tho so when this soil runs out I'm getting the Black Gold soil thats OMRI listed:weed: and will use Alaska Fish Emulsion,Liquid Karma and FF Big Bloom and start my flush with 1tbs of moleasses per gal

Try Hempy. I've got 23 WW that are 10-12 in tall in a 32x18x14d and they all get good light from my 36x20 in . 4 125wCFL bulb , and I've got 37 DP just cut 5 days ago..I use Rootone< easy to get easy to use. They are under 2 4ft 40w flouro tubes for a week, then I'll take off the cover and add another 80w(6500) for another week, then into main room under 600w of 2700 cfl.

Ok - I have an idea for rollitup.org staff - just a suggestion...

How about an area on the site where the users can nominate outstanding RIU users who have contributed valuable information on here... nominate the person for "Elite" membership? The users can then vote every week to elect an Elite member?

I nominate Bombdiggety for his willingness to assist others in his special craft - and he does it with a smile - perhaps a half-cocked stoner grin, but nonetheless he's a benefit to RIU. I know I'm still new here, but I love this site and want to stay here, but I also want to keep people like him on here for the long haul as well! Can we think this idea over a fatty and give it some real consideration?

I'd be happy to be a mod for the CFL threads and whatever else I could do for the site... I know when I get to breeding for micro grows it's going to be a big thing around here cuz nobody is doing it...

Nute - thanks dude I'm happy over here there seems to be more love for us CFL dudes over here at RIU and I don't have to deal with too many assholes like I have over at IC but none the less that nomination thing would be cool cuz theres tons of good people on these boards that have some inovative shit well anyhow I'm stoned as hell from some Skunk#1 I just grabbed cuz I need to give this last batch time to cure a lil but looks like I need to smoke just a bit more cuz after all this isn't no Matsu Black Goo lol
