Hows it going my fellow growers and growettes?:weed: Well I tossed the dresser I had going on the patio cuz I'm turning it into a 250w HPS cab :hump: the reason for this was I had found a desk with enclosed section for a computer tower 24"T 15"D 12"W and I removed the pull out keyboard tray and closed up the back of the space to make my main flower cab which is 26"T 15"D 28"W and I painted it white and wired up 6 42w 2700K CFL's and in the smaller cab I was using it for a mom area but it's now another flower cab with 4 23w 2700K and 2 42w 2700K CFL's and has air being pumped in it by a 4" 110CFM AC Axial Fan and the main flower cab is being ventilated by a Holmes window fan which is ruining my lighting on the lower buds so I'm going to get 2 more of the AC Axial fans I have and use a piece of mylar for my door... Well enough yapping about the equipment.

Lets get into what I'm growing and what I use, so right now the strains I have flowering are Grand Daddy Purple or Purple Urkel still not too sure I'll know when I let it go for 10 weeks. I also have the SR71-Purple Kush which was voted one of the top 10 most potent strains in the world. For soil and nutes I had been using some cheap shitty soil from a local hardware store with the DrBud mix of Shultz 10-15-10, Superthrive, and Fish Emulsion which works good but I found a Emigh/Ace Hardware that sells Fox Farm & Happy Frog products and they also have the Black Gold brand of soils, castings and guano so I decided to go with some Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil with Grow Big and Tiger Bloom but since the FFOF is so damn strong out of the bag I cut it with Kellogg Patio Plus which is similar and when used at 50% KPP and 50% FFOF I have the perfect mix which doest burn my gals using the FF nutes at 1/2 strength and I can see the diff already compared to the cheap shit. I want to go all organic tho so when this soil runs out I'm getting the Black Gold soil thats OMRI listed:weed: and will use Alaska Fish Emulsion,Liquid Karma and FF Big Bloom and start my flush with 1tbs of moleasses per gal

thats some very nice growing by the way i really like those bud shots, glad to be subscribed. how much are you yielding per plant on avg?

I average 7.4g dry shooting for 12g dry n cured on each cut and I think it's very possible seeing as I got 7.4g with cheap soil and cheap nutes now I'm more organic and I can see the diff right from the transplant and I've been using Vitamin B1 when I transplant and what used to take a week in my shitty soil takes 2 days and I have roots to the bottom and the stalks on my ladies are thicker and the leaves are more vibrant and bigger which in my experience tells me I will get more off these ones I have going cuz in week 2 they are happy and on the way to being nice sized women!!

So here we have a group shot of some gals that I cut early for a friend and 2 shots of Urkels from the group and then there is a pick of my veg cab with some of my bonsai moms which include but are not limited to Purple Wreck,SR71 Purple Kush, Maui Waui x Tutty Fruity and I have Querkel cuts rooting right now which I will be making a mom from and I'm waiting on my Mendo Purps cuts and my Trainwreck x Silver Haze which I can't wait to see grow under CFL's :weed:

hey bomb where did u get the light fixtures for you cfls? im running a 1000 w hps an 400 w hps for flowering. want to convert my 1000w mh for veggin to cfls but i cant find fixtures

So here is a little experiment I have going which I plan to do again cuz it's not really fair but here's whats up...

I took 4 Grand Daddy Purple clones,put 2 in Ready Gro coco coir mix and used GH Flora Nova nutes and put 2 in cheap Hyponex Potting Soil(shitty medium) and used the DrBud line up of nutes which was 4 dropper fulls Shultz 10-15-10,4 drops of Superthrive,and 1tbs Alaska Fish Emulsion 5-1-1. The reason I wanted to do this was because I wanted to see how big a difference there was from the grow shop materials as opposed to the get it all at Home Depot and Walmart stuff. Well since I started this test I found the Emigh/Ace Hardware with Fox Farm products and Black Gold brand soils and tons of organic materials!! So I have started 8 more GDP's and they are looking so good at 2 weeks that I think they will do as good as the coco ladies in the pics below. Since they are doing that good and now that I have Fox Farm nutes and soil I want to do a test of FF nutes vs GH Flora Nova nutes but for now we have this.:weed:

The soil ones are in the Mountain Dew bottles and you are seeing weeks 2,3,4

looks like the coco coir is just a bit bigger, not just tall but buds look a little bigger imo. great plants btw

Here is a update of my coco/flora nova project and the pics were taken during week 5 of flowering...

If you haven't been following along the coco ladies are in the containers wrapped in duct tape and the cheap soil/shultz nutes are in the mountain dew bottles and they were all started at the same time and at the same height which for this strain is 4":weed: and the strain is Grand Daddy Purple, I know there has been a lot of confusion on what strain I had but I have had it confirmed that it's GDP and not Urkel,in the next year I am going to stress a GDP clone and get some pollen from it and cross it with the SR71 Purple Kush and then back cross that with itself which the progeny of that will be crossed my Maui Waui x Tutty Fruity to create my Violent Violet :evil::weed::evil:
