I will be a sheep and agree with everyone else (because they are right) and say 24/7. Nature never turns her fans off and I am trying to be just like her.

altho you are right, the point of indoor growing is to replicate ultimate growing conditions.
so by keeping the fans on you are doing what nature wishes it could do.
keep a breeze 24/7.

u dont even need fans really , my bro has never used a fan and he grows indoors"but" he grows in hes living room so there is not restriction to C02.ive set mine to come on ever hour for 2 mins. if u have your fans on 24/7 never face them directly on the plants , also the more wind the more your plants transpire =more watering

true but how close are they ? i made the mistake of putting my fan on 24/7 8 inches away and it fucked my plants all the leaves dryed out and curled up

oh fuck, well lesson learned.
i have 2 small fans in my veg side and 2 large ones on the flower side.
neither are closer than a foot away at any given time.

smallclosetgrowr is right in that you don't *need* fans, but it does circulate air and it helps to prevent some specific plant illnesses. He is right, but I would definitely still try to have a fan.
