Gaddafi of Lybia build a man made river, which was destroyed by NATO.

The Great Man-Made River (GMR, النهر الصناعي العظيم) is a network of pipes that supplies water to the Sahara in Libya, from the Nubian Sandstone Aquifer System fossil aquifer. It is the world's largest irrigation project.[1]

According to its website, it is the largest underground network of pipes (2,820 kilometres (1,750 mi))[2] and aqueducts in the world. It consists of more than 1,300 wells, most more than 500 m deep, and supplies 6,500,000 m3 of fresh water per day to the cities of Tripoli, Benghazi, Sirte and elsewhere. It is also the world's largest irrigation project.[3] The late Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi described it as the "Eighth Wonder of the World.".[4] But in 2011 it was damaged by NATO, due to which Libya is still facing water shortages.
That's a US led NATO

WAR CRIME.

If course it isn't reported that way in there mainstream news media, if it's reported on at all.

But there's no news bias in America!

Stay on topic please. We'd like to continue this HPS sucks thread please. Plenty of arguing still to go!!!
I'll talk about what I like, wherever I like. Nobody appointed you conversation cop.

For evidence that commercial facilities use lighting other than HPS, you can look around this very forum.

Time for you to pull your head out of the sand and join the modern world.

There is not one commercial facility flowering with LED other then what Gene has posted and you tried to bash his you piece if shit. You know of no one else that has provided led commercial use. RealStyles is the only other one that has the balls to cross that. You don't even grow anymore, your so far out of the loop its funny. You tried bashing the guy who basically paved the way for you to grow led. Nice job on ruining shit. Thanks.

The cannabis industry has done the heavy lifting of helping develop the technology to cost effectively grow crops indoors.

Those who buy the best technology now will reap the benefits of years of product development and their initial costs won't reflect the investment the industry has made for years.

Thanks to us, it's already cost competitive to grow everything from microgreens to strawberries indoors under LED lighting and the cost advantage will only grow from here.

I would argue that led is still developing and is far from perfected as a grow lighting source.
You may be shut down on cannabis cultivation but would you be willing to show us your skills and just what your led's can do for Leafy Vegetables, Microgreens, and strawberries?

The only hurdles remaining are up front cost and operating efficiency- which are the same thing.

Some of us have been testing led vs hid for food crops....Um....Definitely not a done deal.
There is no standards and results are all over the place with way too much of this BS "learning curve" talk.
Show me an led that anyone who is an outdoor farmer can just hang and have banging results like they would get with CMH, MH, or HPS???

That doesn't mean shit bro. Let's see some photomorphogenic response of some leafy food crops under that cob array.
Might just tuck your tail between your legs
That's 3500K which isn't the best for stuff like lettuce. Higher Kelvin works better for those. Keep in mind that such plants don't much like the best from HID, which makes LED a better solution all around.

when will it be "perfect"? its already outyielding HPS by 30+%
And you haven't pitched to the commercial guy setting up DE's by the truck load about 20 miles from your house? California is the biggest horticulture lighting market in the world right now. We are legal now and this is fucking awesome!!!!!!
