This, and the newest FISA ruling scare the fuck outta me. They can claim "Top Secret" or "In the interests of National Security" to invoke these powers, and they do not have to prove to ANYONE that it really is Top Secret, or in the interest of national security.
Anyone out there who is "slinging" had better get REAL familiar with the PATRIOT act, and the latest Supreme Court FISA ruling. There are good consise synoposis on the ACLU website.
They are already using PATRIOT like they use RICO, to combat gangs. While I agree that gangs are a bad thing, and probably are a genuine threat to our national "Internal" security, PATRIOT was originally intended to be used as a counter-terrorism measure, NOT a domestic crime fighting tool, to be used on foriegn nationals on foriegn soil, not on us or ours.

Yep..Im not goona lie,it was kinda supiscious to get that email concerning a letter I sent to seed boutique...now I could really give a damn.,but it was wierd for that to happen to me.As far as bongs and shit are concerned,its akways been a very "iffy"subject..there was this dea operation called "Sweet Pipe Dreams"or someshit like that,where they arrested several major bong and pipe glass distributors...also,they can easily charge you with "drug paraphenilia..if youre not careful...cops can do whatever the fuck they want..when will you guys understand that???

Only thing I could add to that is to use TOR while accessing anything you don't want 'whomever' knowing about. It works will with most chat programs and all browsers, however it works best with FireFox. At least that's the easiest to set up. I prefer to use Google Chrome... But, I've got FireFox w/ TOR set up for R.I.U. and other surfing that I don't want anyone knowing about.

Their info page says TOR can be traced if soemone really wanted to.

I myself use GPass, its a nice app that affects only apps launched from it to use a proxy. Pretty nice, I recommend the paranoid give it a shot as well

Wise words!!! Security is a double edged sword. There is a fine line between being aware of whats happening around you, and seeing the DEA in every tree and shrub.
There IS a war on drugs, and only a fool would minimize that and ignore common sense safety measures.

I bought a "dug out" 1 hitter a couple of weeks ago, and they put an itty bitty little baggie of tobacco in the bag. I asked why, and was told that if I were caught with it, and had no loose tobacco to use in it, even tho it was unused and had no evidence of illegal substances I could and probably would be charged with paraphernalia. It would appear that they can charge you with just about anything, arrest you, and let the judge sort it out. Aint it a GREAT country we live in? We have one of, if not THE highest per capita rates of incarceration in the world, and yet we still continue to call ourselves a country of freedom from oppression. I guess we are a free society, the government says it is so it MUST be true. And I trust that they have only my best interests at heart.

the government in america passed that scumbag patriot act shit. then the men in black showed up at all the phone and internet companies and created a locked closet there that the company who owns the building is never allowed to look in. in that closet every email, phone call etcc. runs through the united state govs little black box and they get everything before even the phone, internet or whatever company they are scumbag spying on does. thats fucked up. the patriot act is the worst thing that could have ever happened in this country. so are they gonna bag you for 10 or 25 seeds? no way, but they can look at your shit. dont get it twisted they can look if they want. i personally have had seeds sent to the places where i lived and thankfuly havnt had probs. the first time i ever ordered seeds was right after 9/11 during the anthrax mailings. i got my seeds in a cd, inside a bag that had a sticker on it that said customs opened my package, and they sent it to me anyway. and i never had a problem. i was at that address for 15 years.

When half of the people you personally know works for the Gov. to spy, then I'll be worried, because it will take 50% of every American to spy on the other half of Americans. The sky isn't falling, and it takes 4 Gov. people to do what one regular Citizen can do. IE; A little cut on your finger at a normal job cost about $4.00 for a band aid & time to put it on. With OSHA/Gov. shit, it cost $1,800. to apply the band aid, and spend 20 man hours making & reading safety reports. Apply that inefficiency to everything the Gov. touches. Be joyful in their stupidity !!
