Did a trichome look and see tonight......actually 2nd plant on left, front row in the pic above. The early pheno is further along than I thought, I would say chopping the early plants at day 60 will be perfect. I'm not seeing any clear trichomes, but maybe 50% are just starting to darken to a very light amber/purple at this point. I guess I'll be cutting some on Sunday while i watch football.

This will be my last post for a week or so, as I'll start chopping on Wed at 9 weeks and it will take a few day to finish. Water uptake has greatly slowed, which is the main thing I look for when looking at finish times. Many sativa leaning strains trichomes never turn color past cloudy (none or very little amber) so although I don't want any clear, other than that you need to look for other signs.

Everything filled out nicely, the cola's have a nice hardness to them and I'm sure glad I spent the time staking everything- if I wouldn't have done that, the room would be laying on the floor right about now. I will take a pic right before I start cutting and post on Wed. morning.

This will be the first strain I have not spent time cutting and drying small pieces to dry and smoke as a test. No need as I still have plenty of the Zsweet Inzanity available to smoke. Finally showing some patience in my old age.

I don’t do gloves buddy.........but as I move along, I rub my fingers together for some black hash. At the end of the day, I use a face scrub with nut shells in it to to a final hand cleaning. I also decided to wait til Thursday/Friday for the final chop, as minus the Endless Sky there are only 22 plants to do, 11 a day. And after I move the E.S. plants to the other room, I'll take a few pic's of them with some discussion on Dr. GreenThumb's signature strain.

Another couple of days and it will be all placed in containers. probably close to 3 lbs., and probably not more. 3 of the biggest main cola's have been removed and are drying elsewhere.

As it's been a week now since some has been chopped, I have put some in containers to continue the drying/curing process. My guess now is between 3.25 and 3.5 lbs total- maybe a bit better than I initially thought. I have tried it a few times, and initially I was disappointed with it. I think it was still too wet and hadn't really dried enough for a fair test. Yesterday though, I did a Volcano vape bag and got thoroughly destroyed. It relieved all my concerns. I think where the strain excels though is it's taste and smell. It's a VERY "Sour" strain, which I didn't expect but now i know where Ethos's description of "sweet and tart" comes from. My sour is their tart. It's nicely balanced between indica and sativa, and does not lean to one side over the other. It also lasts a good, long time. Some buds are more skunky, some more flowery but super sour are the words for the day.

Also some of you know I have been a tester previously for a couple of different seed companies in the past, I have no affiliation with Ethos and do not receive any seeds from them. All my Ethos reviews are my honest appraisal. I think since this is my 5th Ethos grow, people were starting to wonder. I pay for them just like everyone else........

By Sunday I'll package most everything up and report the final weight and a few more comments and a pic or two. Then I'll move over to the Ethos Chem OG thread for good.

I'm itching to close out this thread with a final report, so here goes.........

I will post a pic or two of the strain in a container taken outside later in the day.....so check back for that.

If I consider some additional drying time over the next few days, I'm going to lower the final tally by 2 more oz. and say I'll end up with 55 oz- so 3 lbs., 7 oz off the two lights. There were only 22 plants, as the last two were Endless Sky and still in flowering. That's around 72 grams a plant, just about 2 1/2 oz per plant. Not bad, and better than I thought. For comparison sake, I got 66 oz. off 23 plants of the Zsweet Inzanity. 67 days was perfect for me, although a few plants could have been taken earlier. For you die-hards, I could see some take this plant to 75 days and be even happier. From my notes.....

1. high bag appeal, interesting sour, skunky smell. There are a number of pheno's by high, taste and smell. Most fall under either skunky, flowery or a unique sour sweet subtle fruity- or combo's between themselves.
2. typical skunk shaped colas and buds, ok density and nothing really to big (except 1-2 of them). Great resin content, I'll see if my buddy wants to send some out to get tested next card game. I was hoping to find a Blueberry leaning (flat head shaped) plant (tyypical BB) but only went by looks and saw none.
3. 100% germination, all took between 2-3 days paper towel method. Out of the 22 plants, a few got quite tall and those I just bent downward. About 6 plants were really short. The rest grew perfect height wise. Trim a 3rd off the bottom of these plants, you'll be happy you did. After removing the buds, I still had a lot of lower stuff left- I probably could have gotten another 1/2 lb if I let just the bottom stuff finish off in about 2 weeks. I lollipoped about 25%, and in the end wished I had gone higher.
4. Many of Ethos strains show some hermies....some more than others. Not 1 seed in this, not one male flower. A stable strain.

The money shot...........interesting pot, easy grow, yield was better than expected, unique flavors and a slightly leaning indica buzz that spaces you out. It's been a while since I called anything "spacey", but this takes you out to a distant place. It's nicely potent, lasts a good long time and has a lot of flavor. My ONLY issue it's just not my kind of smoke. I like something more sativa leaning, more up and racey and energyzing. THIS AIN'T THAT. LOL LOL Nothing unpleasant about it at all, and a nice change of pace once in a while.

The first few times I bonged it, about a week from finishing- I was disappointed. I was thinking uh-oh.........that's one of the reasons I went to 67 days, although I started thinking about chopping at day 62. Then maybe 5 days later I took a piece and let it dry over 1 1/2 days and put it in the Volcano vape. I was destroyed and now more than happy.

So, another nice grow from Ethos stuff. No complaints at all, and I'm sure people will go nuts when they see it and then try it. Worth doing if you're looking for that type of buzz. Any questions, ask. One more pic later today, then on to the EthosChem OG thread.

And as always, thanks for following along. I know you're out there, I see the numbers rising. If I was getting 110 views, I wouldn't post ever.

@SSHZ It's been really cool to follow along from start to finish on this. I really enjoy your grow journals.

The finished product looks great, you really did the genetics justice. Keep up the good work. :weed:

@SSHZ These journals are getting me super exited for my girls to start flowering thanks! Currently running the inzane, tropic thunder , grandpas stash, and the glittlez . I’m praying for no glittlez nanners as he warns it may spit some out .

I would be very careful..........especially when he warns of nanners on the strain. I'd say most everything I've done from Ethos has put off a nanner or two, but I've stayed away from the strains that I know (from previous reports) put off a lot of nanners. I've read some reports of entire plants acting as a male with more male traits than female.

Most of the male traits I've seen are on the main stalks, not the branches so I'd be looking there very closely thru the entire flowering stage. Love their stuff as you've seen, I've had great success but seeds in buds suck.

Thanks for the heads up . I’m keeping a very close eye on these girls only got 2 of the glittlez running.
