I did some searching for the genetics of this strain (Member Berry), as my people always ask me when they get some. Here's what I found:

SkunkBerry X Mandarin Sunset

(Blueberry X Purple Skunk) X (Herijuana X Orange Skunk)

24%-28% THC, previous cup winner.

Sweet tart citrus flavors accompanied by an old school skunk. Heavy, long lasting hybrid effects. 60-65 days flowering.

NOTICE..........I am in the process of getting rid of some of my back stock seeds, many are either freebies or leftover from grows or just things I bought and never ended up growing out. I am giving them away for free, but only to people who I've given seeds away to before OR have commented in 1 of my 3 Ethos grows: Citral Glue, Zsweet Inzanity or Member Berry. If you haven't commented in any of those threads before today, sorry. If you have, and there is something that interests you, send me a message. Here is the list as of now, but I will be adding more to it. The seed quantity per variety is between 1-10.

Expert Seeds: Hawaiian Afghan, Fruit Salad, Afghan Skunk
Seedsman: Northern Soul, White Widow, Jack Herer
Bomb Seeds: Cherry Bomb
Royal Queen: Bubblegum XL, Special Kush #1, Critical
Sweet Seeds: Jack 47 F.V.
Heavyweight: Dream Machine
HSO: Master Kush (gone!), Lemon Kush Headband
Dinafem: Critical, Blue Kush

I'll add more as time allows. Again, these are only for people who COMMENTED (or liked) in my Ethos threads. The seeds have been well cared for, but I make no guarantee on germination (obviously). They are all in original packaging too. Please, no comments regarding this in the thread- message me for questions, comments, desires, etc.

Week 6 finished on Wed........probably 3-3.5 weeks left. On Thurs., I started to see a slight lean to the plants to the right. Friday it was more pronounced, and by Saturday, the back two rows were down and out of sight- fallen on top of each other. I gave the room a good watering and Sunday morning when i turned the lights on, I pulled every plant out, cleaned them up, staked them and then straightened up the room some before putting everything back in. I arranged it so the tallest plants were on the perimeter and shortest plants towards the center, which are harder to see. So in the pic's you'll see the stakes and a completely different look to the room.

It's definitely not a "heavy" yielder, and it has a heavy skunk influence. I'm figuring 1 1/4-1 1/2 lbs per light, so probably around 2.5+ lbs or so. Spear shaped buds, spongy amd while even the center cola's are not particularly large. But it's very resiny, and I think what stands out is the smell at this point. Definitely a skunk undertone, but with a sweetness and berry that easily noticeable. Reminds me a lot to the Green Poison for a few years back in some ways, but that was a better yielder.

Lastly, the 2 Endless Sky's remain, untouched. They are well behind, and at some point I'll pull them out and let them finish in another room. I'll be lucky to get 1 oz per plant on these, but it was caused by only a late 3 week veg and weaker lighting on the room edges where the plants are. More on these down the road.

Some bud and room pic's up Wed. morning........

Those colas look perfect! Quick question, whwn you lollipop...how many branches on average per plant? Is is relative to space or you have a desired number? Cheers. Ps saw an ethos post on IG I think there's gonna be another drop before Christmas.

Hey Skid......what's up buddy?

Everyone lollipops differently. I think most people just take EVERYTHING off below a certain point on the stalk. I take everything BUT stems that are up high enough to get good light (and are healthy). I'll leave branches at the very bottom of the stalk, if it's tall enough- I want bud sites. Every strain is different and reacts differently to my style. I will say Kushes tend to perform very well normally.

So with the M.B., it's my first grow of it so I don't pinch or prune or basically alter the plants. I always make a mental note after a grow what I would have done differently if I grew it again. I would say on average each plant has 8 branches, but basically a main cola, a ring of 4 cola's under that, and some others that pop up is various places.

Day 46 in flowering, there's a number of plants that are about a week ahead of the others........I haven't looked close enough yet to figure out how many of each yet. Not really excited about the thought of doing 2 separate harvests so the plan is to go the full 65 days - so 19 days left. I'll be watching the trichomes closely at 9 weeks. I may try to take a pic or two at lights out in an hour- if they come out good (doubtful), I'll post them.

Looks good SSHZ, How do you think the yield compares to the Zsweet at this point as heavy or not quite as good, Also have you run the Rainmaker or have you heard anything about it.

Thanks for that! How are the two pheno's comparing? (Is that the development delay) Either one more enticing? That heritage you posted weeks back had me salivating! I'm going to run my ZI early next year. Get to know my new neighbors before growing something so strong. Low key for now just got some IHG Zilky Zmooth in veg. For the young'ns at Xmas you understand. Vicarious growing watching yours!! Keep it up!

Looks good, I just won 5 packs of Ethos going to be popping pillow factory soon.

Can you put a link up to your Inzanity grow?
Was there any pheno that stood out?
How much variation are you seeing between phenos?

Zsweet Inzanity is described as a heavy yielder, and it was. Member Berry is described as above average yielder, and that's accurate too. Z.I. will yield way more in a room like mine. The yield is a bonus, as the quality is top shelf. It's still my daily smoke, I absolutely love it (as does every single person who ended up smoking it). It's great to see people's eyes LIGHT up after a couple hits of it. LOL Just know everyone that gets some has said they can't find anything this good in any of the local dispensaries.

You know, I don't pay to much attention to pheno's, as I'm not "mother" hunter. But when I search in the containers for a bud to smoke, I look for the plant that hermied and put out some seeds. Those seeded buds are more developed in the "flavor' department, and hit just as hard as the others.

Wed. will be 7 weeks for the Member Berry. Can't wait to try it, the buds are hardening up, and the room is looking nice. More on Wed....

Sorry, I didn't address the Rainmaker. It's quite similar to some other things in the Ethos line, and actually is used in breeding in some of their hybrids. I haven't grown it out as it is too similar to Citral Glue, which i did a couple of crops ago and still have a stash of it. But it's exactly what I look for in a strain, heavy yield and high (up to 32%) THC. I think what turned me off about it was the wide spread of pheno's, finishing anywhere between 8-10 weeks, which can make for a harvest nightmare. But I've only read good things about it. As it has the Mandarin Sunset as a parent, always be on the lookout for hermies too (but I don't know for a fact that's an issue with this strain).

So, end of week 7 today. Probably a bit over 2 weeks to go, although plants look to be done before that. Two things that are standing out to me this week are 1) the skunk smell is becoming more pronounced and 2) the cola's are filling out nicely. I was a bit worried lately, thinking yield would be far off my norm but the room does seem to be chunking along and I'm sure 3+ lbs. is a real possibility. I've reduced the ferts down to around 600-700 ppm, bloom only and still watering every other day. Last week for the Cal/Mag too.

Here's a pic shot a few minutes ago. Resin is really packing on right now, not sure but maybe 12 days to go or so. More skunky than anything right now, but I imagine after drying, the sweet berry/citrus flavors will be evident. More on Wednesday at 8 weeks done. Pic taken with an iPhone. Click for a closeup!!!

What kind of lighting are you using? Your plants look really nice.

Early Wed morning, 56 days thru flowering. I figure to start cutting in 9-10 days, give or take. Still haven't looked at any trichomes. Really trying to avoid the room, other than watering. Not much I can do at this point. I did raise the lights to their highest position in the room and leave the fans in the room (not the exhaust system) on 24/7 to stop mold. Nothing but plain water now, might add some molasses too. I'll also raise the pH of the water up a bit, from 6.2-6.3 to 6.4-6.5. This will slow any more N uptake in the end. And, I'll reduce the watering a bit, letting them dry out more than normal (while reducing room humidity).

This is a strain I have high hopes for, but never really saw a decent review of it. Just took a leap of faith. It's really just this past week or so I started to see the potential. I've been under impressed overall so far- it's fine, just didn't impress me. I am feeling better about it all now. About 1/3 of the plants are earlier than the rest, probably by a week. The pic in post 56 was off a plant that was probably done the most in the room.

The buds have really filled out nicely, I'll be happy if I get to 3 lbs., but I'm not so sure I'll make it. The berry smell fights the skunk smell, it's a daily battle. Far away from the room, upstairs or another part of the basement- you smell skunk. In the room, you can smell the "sweetness", and touch a plant somewhere and the berry is right there.

Pic up in the morning.........
