Economic grow

I have been reading Subcools SuperSoil thread for two days now.

I think if I can find all the stuff it will make my first grow super easy, now for the questions.

I only need about 2oz a month. I want to set up a grow to produce everyother month. I want to grow under CFLs for my first grow to see how it goes and try to save a little money (hopefully will have the cash for a HPS by the time flowering comes)

I guess I really only have a few questions and all comments are welcome.

How much on average do most plants produce (I know it depends on strain and growing conditions I just need a ballpark figure)

Can I flower under CFLs if I must?

Should I start my seedlings in plain top soil or should I add small amounts of nutrients? How long should I let them grow before putting them in the supersoil?

How much room on avg. does each plant require?

I think that is all I got for now. Thanks in advance for any help.

the yeild is something that depends how you grow your stuff and lights used, You can use CFL to flower but you need alot of them that are 2700k to 3000k with some 6500k a mix between the two different lights, dont'nt add any nutes till your plant has atleast 3 nodes, plants can be bunched together but since your useing CFLs you want space so the plants gets plenty of light all around her.

There are some 1000k equivalence bulbs at home depot. I know that I need to look at it a little more closely but do you think that it would be a good main bulb with some supplemental bulbs to go with it.

I was thinking doing a set up with 6 CFLs on the top (only 4 if the big bulb will work) and a minimum of 2 bulbs per side. Will that be enough of do I need more, if so how many should I use per side or should I go by lumens not the # of bulbs. This would be for 2 plants at a time.

I am going to try and have a grow and flower area separate so I can harvest every two months.

I am sorry if these are questions asked 100 times I just want to do the best I can.

I really wouldent use that 1000k it may be to low. How many plants you planning on. U atleast want 100 watts per plant. a 26 watt cfl=100 watts but you dont go by what it= so u would need 5 cfls=130watts thats for flowering tho.
