Just want to say thanks again to all of you for the quick responses with info and suggestions. After taking and running with several of those suggestions , looks like we are on the road to recovery :bigjoint: .. Lots of new growth at the tops & they are coming in normal w/o the claw and the deep dark green almost deep purple leaves. I am really thinking now that the distilled water I was using was doing me worse rather than good. It seemed as if the plant had positive response quickly after using my tap water instead , and I have also noticed that the PH is allot more stable using the tap , it was all over the place with the distilled water. I have seen no ill effects of using the API treated water, but have since now just changed out res yesterday with untreated tap water and so far so good. If this recovery continues as it is till the end of the week , I'm am considering to go ahead with the light switch and begin flowering. Life is good , you guys rock

I will post a recovery pic here in a few days so you can see difference in health.

To stop PH swing you need to balance water. RO and Distilled both have no buffer and that is the reason you are having the swings even with Cal/mg.

First off your city water website will be the best way to get a good idea of the water and how much Cal is in there which is what will keep your water stable.

Measure your tap PPM then use RO water (Dont use De-ionized) to dilute your water to around 150-180ppm as your base, add your nutes, wait 20 minutes and then adjust PH.

I have been balancing water my whole life with aquariums, hot tubs and the same applies to hydro ;)

Sorry it took me so long to get a pic up of her recovery , I couldn't remember who I lent my camera to until this weekend lol .. Anyway the municipal tap water I have been using coming in @ 230 ppm. So I have just been subtracting that and feeding around 400 ppm now ( I know that very low but even first round with this strain was same deal , seem to like very little nutes , start heading over 400ppm ( of nutes ) and signs of nute burn start to show , So I have been keeping in that 370-400 ppm range and she seemed to pull out of it well, Things started looking up as soon as I changed my base water from Distilled to the tap. Today was day 42 (6 wks ) from the flip. As long as I keep it steady and don't over do nutes , hoping this may turn out alright after all bongsmilie

Distilled water - there it is. Do NOT use distilled water. RO water or tap/well water only.
You seemed 2 be right on there ..seem a big improvement moving to tap from the distilled. She perked backup good after that is still real fussy about feeding though .. I guess Im not complaining, hell it's saving me on my nutes lol
